Gusto kong pasalamatan si Eura sa pagdating nito. 

Gave's dad stood up as he bid us goodbye. He also greets Eura before he walked out of our sight. 

Nagtataka akong tiningnan ni Eura. "Sino 'yon?"

I looked away as I moved my shoulders to shrug. 

Hindi ko rin naman alam kung paano sasagutin ang tanong niya. 

I can still feel my heart hammering inside my ribcage in nervousness. Hindi ko alam ngunit hindi ako mapakali sa aking upuan kahit ilang minuto nang wala 'yong tao kaya panay ako tingin sa paligid. 

He is... he is creepy. 

I mean, yes he looks attractive despite his age. Gave got some of his features, obviously because he is Gave's father. 

But the way he delivers those words really sounds so creepy to me. Like he meant something behind it. And the way he gazes at me, too...

"Okay ka lang ba, Aster? You look so nervous. Is it about the man earlier?"

"Huh? Hindi."

"Asterine, don't fool me," Eura said firmly.

Umiwas ako ng tingin. "Wala 'yon. Please stop asking me question."

Sinubukan kong sabayan si Eura sa kaniyang mga kinukuwento kahit na hindi ako mapakali dahil sa naging interaksyon ko sa tatay ni Gave. Naggala pa kami nang kaunti sa mall bago napagdesisyunan na umuwi.

Gave:

Text me if you are already home. I'll call you.

I did what Gave said when I arrived home. Nakahiga na ako sa aking kama habang naghihintay ng kaniyang tawag. I was just staring at my ceiling while thinking about what happened earlier. 

I don't think Gave will tell his father about me being his girlfriend. How did he know? Through Gio? But that will be impossible. I bet Gio also hates his father, too.

I got startled when my phone's ringtone filled my room with its noise. 

Agad kong sinagot ang tawag nang makita ang pangalan ni Gave sa screen. 

"Hello?"

"Hey, how's your trip, your highness?"

I bit my lower lip before I closed my eyes tightly. 

I'm contemplating if should I tell Gave about my interaction with his father or what...

"Not really fine," I breathed out. 

"Hmm... Why? Did something happen?"

I licked my lip. "I met him earlier, Gave..."

"Hmm?"

I bit my lower lip. "Y-Your father, Gave. I met him."

"What?!"

Napakurap ako sa naging reaksyon nito. He sounds so alarmed by my statement. 

"Teka, paano?"

"He approached me in Italiannis at Glorietta, Gave. He said he wants to know his son's girlfriend."

"Bullshit," he mumbled angrily. 

Pumikit ako nang mariin habang pinapakinggan ang sunod-sunod na mura ni Gave. 

"Aster, kapag nakita mo siya ulit. 'Wag mo nang kausapin pa. Leave immediately."

"Yes..."

"Aster, whenever I interact with some girls, he tends to have an interest in them."
