You sat hunched over your desk, your fingers flying over the keyboard as you tried to finish the last page of your history paper. It had been a long day of classes and extracurriculars, and all you wanted was to crawl into bed and forget about homework for a while.

Just then, your phone buzzed, and you saw Jughead's name flash across the screen. 'Jug?' you said, answering the call and putting it on speaker.

'Hey,' he said, his voice warm and comforting. 'What're you doing right now?'

'Um, homework,' you said, your fingers never stopping their relentless typing. 'Why?'

'Just wondering,' he said with a slight chuckle. 'Can you come over to my place for a bit?'

You frowned, your brow furrowing. 'Why? You know I've got this paper due tomorrow...'"

You ended the call with Jughead and quickly slipped your shoes on. As you made your way to Betty's house, you could hear Archie's guitar and voice ringing through the windows.

When you opened the door, the entire room erupted into a chorus of 'Happy Birthday!' as the Serpents and Bulldogs jumped out from their hiding places.

You couldn't help but laugh as you made your way over to Jughead and your brother, embracing them both in a tight hug.

'Guys,' you said, tears of joy pricking at the corners of your eyes. 'You didn't have to do this!'

Archie smiled and wrapped his arm around your shoulders, squeezing you lightly. 'Of course we did!' he said, his grin broadening. 'You're turning 18, which means you're officially an adult! We had to mark the occasion in style!'

You chuckled, shaking your head in disbelief. 'You guys are crazy,' you said, laughing. 'But thank you. This is really sweet.'

Your brother grinned, his expression mischievous. 'And you thought we forgot, huh?' he asked, raising an eyebrow.

'Well, I wasn't sure what to expect,' you said, grinning at them both. 'But I certainly wasn't expecting this.'
