You and Jughead had been seeing each other for a few months in secret. Well, the only person that really knew was his dad. But even he swore to tell no one.

As you sat at Pop's, sipping your strawberry milkshake while Jughead helped you study for your history test, you couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Archie, your brother, had been growing suspicious of your relationship with Jughead, and you weren't sure how to handle the situation.

'Do you think we're doing the right thing?' you asked Jughead, your voice low and serious.

He looked up from his notes, his expression thoughtful. 'I'm not sure,' he said honestly. 'I mean, I don't want to cause any problems between you and Archie, but at the same time...' he trailed off, his gaze meeting yours.

Jughead shrugged and took a sip of his chocolate milkshake. 'I don't know,' he said, his voice contemplative. 'I feel bad for lying, but with Archie, I never know how he'll react.'

You sighed, swirling your straw in your milkshake. 'Yeah,' you agreed. 'I just wish there was an easy way of letting him know about us. I want the three of us to hang out like normal, not this awkwardness that's been going on.'

Jughead nodded, leaning forward. 'Maybe we should just be straight forward with him?' he suggested, his eyes hopeful.

You shook your head, feeling overwhelmed. 'I just... I don't know,' you said.

Archie soon walks in with Betty hand in hand soon after. His eyes land on the two of you. "Y/n?" He walks over to your booth.

You tried to suppress the panic rising within you as Archie and Betty approached your booth. 'Hey, Arch,' you said, your voice sounding a bit strained to your own ears. 'Betty, good to see you!'

Betty gave you a warm smile. 'You too.'

Archie gestured to the empty side of the booth. 'What are you guys doing here?' he asked, raising an eyebrow at Jughead.

'Studying,' Jughead said, answering a little too quickly. 'Y/n has a history test tomorrow, she wanted my help.'

'Oh, right. You did mention that,' Archie said, nodding. 'Mind if we join you?' he asked, giving you both an innocent smile.

"Not at all."

Your stomach dropped as Archie asked the question you'd been dreading. 'Are you guys keeping something from me?' he asked, his gaze unwavering.

You swallowed hard, trying to find the right words. 'What makes you think that?' you asked, deflecting.

Archie shrugged, still eyeing you both suspiciously. 'I just can't shake the feeling. I don't know...'

Jughead glanced at you, then gave a small nod. 'Archie,' he started, 'we need to tell you something.'

Archie's eyebrows shot up in surprise. 'What?' he asked, his voice a mixture of disbelief and amazement.

'We've been dating for a couple of months,' Jughead confessed, his expression sheepish.

'Seriously? A couple of months?' Archie repeated, shaking his head. 'What the hell, guys?'

You bit your lip, trying to find the words to explain. 'We were too nervous to tell you, Arch,' you said, your voice soft.

Archie sighed, his shoulders relaxing. 'I'm fine with it,' he said, reaching across the table to give your hand a squeeze. 'I'm happy for you guys. I just wish you would have told me sooner.'

"I wish you would feel more comfortable telling me this kind of stuff. With dad gone, I wanna be able to talk to you and give you advice."

"I know. I'm sorry, I love you."

"I love you too."
