Y/n was facing a momentous test, one that would determine whether or not they could attend their dream school. Despite studying all year long, the anxiety of this single test was getting to them, causing their hands to tremble and their heart to race.

The test was a daunting one - 100 questions covering a wide range of topics with different types of questions like multiple choice, written, and more. Y/n knew how important this test was, and that only amplified their stress levels.

Y/n lived with their loving and supportive boyfriend, Charles, who was always there to lend a helping hand. Despite his teaching job at Riverdale High, Charles found time to be there for Y/n, who was currently dealing with the stress of a make-or-break exam.

Feeling frustrated and overwhelmed by the seemingly impossible task before them, Y/n let out a heavy sigh. In a fit of emotion, they threw their pencil to the ground. 'I can't do this anymore! Ugh!' they cried, tears flowing freely down their cheeks. The stress of the situation was proving too much for Y/n, whose emotions were rising and falling like a roller coaster, leaving them feeling utterly helpless.

Just as Y/n was at their lowest, the front door opened, and they heard Charles' familiar voice calling out. 'Babe?'

A wave of relief washed over Y/n. 'Oh, thank goodness!' they thought. Charles wasted no time in coming to Y/n's side, rubbing their back soothingly.

'Aw, why are you crying?' he asked, his concern evident in his voice.

Y/n buried their face in their hands, their shoulders shaking with quiet sobs. 'I have this huge test... it's basically make or break my future,' they managed to say between sniffles, trying to keep their emotions in check.

Charles wrapped his arms around Y/n in a supportive embrace, trying to reassure them. 'Hey, no need to stress. You've been studying all year. You're more than ready for this.'

But Y/n's anxiety wouldn't be quelled so easily. 'I don't know if I can do this, Charles. What if I fail?' they asked, their voice trembling with worry.

Charles placed a gentle kiss on Y/n's forehead, a gesture that felt like a balm to their soul. 'You can, I know you can,' he said firmly. 'You're the smartest person I know.'

Y/n managed a small smile. 'Thanks.'

'Why don't we take a break?' Charles suggested. 'Or do you just want me to help you?' he offered, ready to do whatever was needed to help Y/n relax and focus."

Y/n chuckled, a tinge of humor breaking through their despair. 'Please help me, I'm so lost!'

Charles laughed along with Y/n. 'Haha, I will,' he said, offering his support. 'Let's sit on the floor so we both can see?'

Y/n nodded, thankful for the suggestion. The two of them sat facing each other, legs crossed, as Charles prepared to dive into the material.

'So what are you working on?' he asked.

'Anatomy 101,' Y/n replied.

Charles' eyebrows shot up. 'Yikes, do you just have to memorize the bones in the body?' he inquired."

"Pretty much yeah."

"You've got this, you'll nail it."

It was the next day after Charles and I spent the entire night studying bones and bone structure.

"Thanks, babe. See you in two hours."

"Bye, Good luck!!"

"I'll get it!" I yell from downstairs. I had taken my test yesterday and it was extremely difficult. I just hope it was enough to pass.

"Hi, I have mail for Y/N Y/L/N?"

"That's me! Thank you," The mailman gives me my mail and I rip it open.

"Oh my God!! Charles!!"

"What? Is everything okay? Are you hurt?"

"No, silly! I got in! I'm going to Harvard!"

"I told you, you would pass! I'm so excited for you!" He kisses me, as I kiss back.

"I couldn't have done it without your help."

"It wasn't a problem, I love you."

"I love you too."
