The Ghoulie's words, "Wrong answer," were still ringing in your ears when one of them delivered a powerful blow to your head, causing everything to go black.

When you finally regained consciousness, you realized that several hours had passed. You were no longer in the familiar surroundings of the Southside streets, but instead found yourself in the back of a van, your hands still bound and your head pounding from the earlier attack.

As you groggily attempted to sit up, a voice from the front of the van called out, "Well, looks like Sleeping Beauty is finally awake. Good, because we've just arrived at our hideout."

Despite the dire situation, you couldn't help but roll your eyes at the cliche of being kidnapped and taken to a mysterious hideout. But you knew that you had to stay alert and find a way to escape before the Ghoulies could make their next move.

You climbed out of the van cautiously, taking in your surroundings. It seemed like you were in some sort of abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. The place looked rundown and eerie, with only a few dim lights illuminating the space.

"Welcome to your new home for the next few days!" one of the Ghoulies jeered, gesturing to the dingy warehouse around you.

Despite their attempts to intimidate you, you remained stubbornly silent, refusing to give them the satisfaction of a response.

However, your defiance only seemed to anger them further. "Speak!" one of the men shouted, his hand connecting with your cheek in a stinging slap.

You winced at the sudden pain, but still held your tongue. You weren't about to give in to their demands, no matter what they did to you.

"Thank you," you muttered sarcastically, refusing to show any signs of weakness in front of these thugs.

The Ghoulie sneered in response. "Good girl. Just know that we've notified your 'gang' about your disappearance. They should be looking for you, but we're counting on it taking them a while to find you."

You shot him a glare, the fear of what could happen to your gangmates nagging at the back of your mind. "And what did we do to you?" you asked, feigning nonchalance as you made yourself comfortable on their tattered sofa.

The Ghoulie shrugged. "Nothing, really. Just that you and your little Serpent pals have a habit of terrorizing our people. Putting a gu* in their face and telling them to go to hell, that sort of thing. And let's not forget that you called one of our guys a bastard the other day."

"So, what? You think that's reason enough to kidnap me?" you replied, not bothering to deny the allegations.

"You will be, these next few hours will be pain and torture. I'll beat the shit out of you until you can't breathe."
