You and Tony celebrated your engagement with the Team and your students back at the Tower that night. It was fun and it was nice that your students had passed the stage of being awkward fans towards Tony and the other Avengers. Now it was completely normal for them to be around each other. It was nice, both of your lives meshing together so well.

Tony and yourself celebrated alone after everyone had left as well. In fact, the two of you didn't sleep a wink. Which was fine since it was Friday and both of you were able to sleep well into the afternoon the next day. When you both woke up, you had the conversation about when your wedding should be.

"Like I told you yesterday, honey," Tony said softly as his fingers brushed across your cheek, "we don't have to get married right away, or even ever. I just wanted to make sure that you're mine and that everyone else knows that as well."

"I want to marry you, Tony," you smiled at him, noting the way his eyes brightened. Your hand ran up his arm and rested upon his neck, your thumb running along his jaw bone. "I'm just not ready to yet."

"I know, that's why—"

You covered his mouth with your hand. "But, how about June of next year? Once the school year is out and we could maybe honeymoon all summer. It would give us a year and a half to plan and give me some time."

Tony pressed a kiss to your fingers before taking your wrist and moved your hand back to his neck. "I'll do whatever you want, as long as you're by my side."

You smiled as you leaned forward, lips barely brushing against his. "That is why I love you."

You finished up the rest of the school year, with Tony by your side. You honestly were incredibly grateful for his help. You two didn't start planning the wedding until school was out. Even though the wedding wasn't for another year, the Team and Tower were already bustling with excitement. You were still slightly wary about the whole thing, just because of your previous engagement. But every time you saw Tony giddy with excitement over planning or just the simple thought of marrying you, that all disappeared.

"Oh! We could do a destination wedding!" Tony suggested. "It would help kind off our world wide honeymoon for sure. We could do Rome or Berlin or Paris!"

"Tony."

"On top of the Eiffel Tower might be cool. We could fly off of it when we leave."

"Tony."

"Or there's—"

"Tony!" You called louder.

He finally looked your way. "Yes, dear?"

"What if we just get married here?"

"Here? As in New York City here? Or as in the Tower here?"

"The Tower. We wouldn't have to spend any money on a venue—"

"I already told you money isn't an issue."

"And my students wouldn't have to pay for flights to join us."

"Again, honey, money isn't an issue."

"To you, maybe. Also, we can get married and have our reception here. It would make life easier. You do have two ballrooms in the Tower."

Tony took hold of your hands. "Are you sure that's what you want?"

You nodded. "It's what I want, Tony."

"Then nothing will make me happier than to get married here." He leaned forward and kissed you chastely. "Oh! Maybe I can get the roof remodeled and we can have the ceremony up there! Wouldn't that be great?" He jumped up. "I'm going to go draft some plans." He began walking away and you smiled at his antics. "We could turn it into a green house or maybe—oh!" He spun around, heading back towards you. "I almost forgot something."
