One

Brandi woke up after a long day. Mack fed and talked her into sex. She didn't feel loved after two weeks. Brandi wished for a savior to come and get her away, but she knows that will never happen. She felt as though she is a lost cause. "Brandi!"

"I have school." She said as she grabbed her jacket. "I'll see you later."

Mack watched her leave and he knew. She was catching on to what he was doing. Messing with her feelings forcing her to be his mate. He knows she knows better. "Sooner or later, she'll be dead anyways." He mumbled as he watched her pull out. "She will be no use to me anymore."

Jasper heard everyone talking about him and his family. He didn't care what the others are saying, but a scent caught his attention. He looked to see a girl walking by as everyone showed nothing, but sympathy and worried. "Why are they worry?" Rosalie asked.

"She's got marks on her and she's closed off." Edward answers. "Her mind is nothing, but fear."

They heard a growl and looked at Jasper. "She's your mate." Frankie said.

"His soulmate." Alice tells them. "Major, I think you need to help her. She needs you now more then ever."

Jasper walked away as he wondered what kind of marks she has. When Brandi turned to go back from the way she came, she bumped into someone knocking her books out of her hand. "I'm so sorry." She said.

Just her voice had Jasper taking over. "It's fine, but are you okay."

Brandi looked up at the guy in front of her causing him to see the bites. "Yeah. I'm Brandi."

"Jasper..."

"I need to go."

Jasper watched her leave before looking at the floor to see a note. He picked it up and read it.

I need someone to save me from the monster in my house.

"There's a vampire in her house." Jasper tells them. "He's been feeding from her and I guess manipulating her into something she may not have wanted."

"She's being raped without saying she is." Rosalie said. "We keep an eye on this girl."

Jasper walked away already knowing his plan. To get closer to her, to show her that he is there to save her from that man, and to show her love something he needs too."

Brandi sat in her class when she felt a pull and looked up at Jasper. She smiled, but it faded as she had this feeling that she was being watched. Mack always finds a way to make sure she's not talking to anyone. Jasper sat down beside her and handed her the note. "You dropped this."

"Thank you." She said as she read the note.

What kind of monster?

A man who thinks I'm his and only his.

Jasper glared at the note in his hand. His mate is just a toy to this vampire and he has her scared of the world. Brandi didn't write anything and neither did Jasper as he was trying to keep the Major at ease. Brandi wrote on the note before sliding it over to him.

Are you okay?

Jasper looked at her. He nodded, but he knew he had to take his time with her. She's fragile because of this vampire and he doesn't want her scared of him. Brandi sighed as she faced the front, but when she looked back at Jasper, she saw him. Jasper felt fear and looked at her before looking outside to see a guy watch them.

She walked out of class just as the bell rang. Jasper got up and ran after her, but she was nowhere's. "Jasper, who are you looking for."

"My mate. Her worst fear is here." He said. "I need to find her. Before he does something to her."

"Why?"

"I have a feeling what he might do to her soon." He said. "I have to wait."

Brandi laid on the floor with blood oozing from the wound on her. Mack told her that he saw her with another vampire. She is his and only his. She started crying as she got up slowly. Pain was all she felt. She felt numb. Brandi couldn't feel anything. She reached the couch and laid down as she hope that one day, she will be saved.

At the Cullens, Jasper felt pain. "She's hurting."

"Who?"

"Brandi." Jasper said. "I can feel her pain."

They all looked at one another shocked. "Jasper, do you want..."

"I don't want him smelling my appearance." He said. "I can't risk her getting abuse. I'll just wait for her to say the word and I'll be there to save her."

They watched him leave causing them to sigh. Edward shook his head. "If only he knew what her mind is saying."
