When she and Cha Eunwoo were dating, they were still at school. Two students had not much of financial freedom and they were not materialistic. Their love was very simple. They would have a meal at Pizza Hut and watch a movie together. Later, she and Chang Eunwoo would walk back to the hostel together. However, Cha Eunwoo would never wait downstairs until she's safely in her room. When Cha Eunwoo started working and they occasionally got to see each other, he would take the initiative to call a taxi for her. On the surface, his action might look gentlemanly but in fact, it was just allowing her to go home by herself. He had never taken the trouble to see her home and did not think much about her personal safety at night.

Jennie looked at Lisa. His dark eyes were shining in the dark confinements of the car, watching her gently.

Jennie trembled as she panicked slightly, even stumbling with her words, "I...I'm going up then."

She quickly unbuckled her seatbelt and was about to get out of the car when he pulled her lightly on the arm. He did not use much force and Jennie did not attempt to shake him off. She stayed still quietly as she felt a burn on where he held on her arm.

She was facing the car door and was too embarrassed to look back. She felt goosebumps as she heard the sound of movement behind her and felt the heat emanating at her back. She felt Lisa coming close. His clean fragrance surrounded her.

"What are you hiding from?" Lisa's voice rang in her ears. His deep, hoarse voice tickled her ears numb. It felt like his lips were just right by her ear, his hot breath was blowing on it. She trembled as she felt her ears burnt furiously.

Jennie did not know how to reply to him, so she just held her head very low. Lisa could not help but laugh at her honest reaction.

He moved forward and found her lips within the dark. But as her head was lowered, he could only manage to kiss the corner of her lips.

Jennie stopped breathing as he did not seem to move away. His face was almost pressing at her face. From the corner of her eyes, she could see his thin lips lightly pursed up, his breath was all over her trembling lips.

Jennie felt that her energy has depleted, her breathing was unnatural and erratic.

"I'd like to ask for a goodbye kiss from my girlfriend," he said quietly. His low baritone was a little hoarse. It went straight for Jennie's heart and her heart started to beat wildly.

"Have...Have a safe drive back. I'm going home," Jennie quickly said as her face burned. She got out of the car and nearly fell as she went weak in the knees.

As the night breeze blew across her face, the heat on it dissipated a little. Without that intense pressure from the car, Jennie breathed with relief. She secretly looked back towards the Grand Cherokee that was still parked there and said to herself, "He's really something. He keeps claiming that I'm his girlfriend. Did he even ask for my consent?"

She patted her face a few times to get rid of the heat and did not notice a shadow getting into the unit's door.

She lowered her head to look for her keys. She was still affected by Lisa and had not completely recovered from it. Lisa's car was still parked not far away.

For some reason, Jennie could not help looking back at him. She saw Lisa reversing his car to a spot where he can watch her. He then looked out the car window and waved at her.

Jennie, "..."

She blushed and quickly opened the unit door and entered. Her head was lowered and did not notice the person inside. She suddenly heard an angry voice call out, "Jennie!"
