"Let go of me, I didn't wrong him! Why are you being so unreasonable?" Jennie struggled hard to be released from Mrs. Yao, but Mrs. Yao did not show any mercy nor did she relent. As a full-time housewife, she was extremely proficient in doing house chores. Jennie could never compare to her strength, instead, she was being squished and curled into a ball of mess.

"What's this all about?" a restrained voice with a hint of anger was faintly heard.

"What are you doing? You're still not letting go? Manager You, you're not doing anything about this?" the brother-in-law of You Weiwen, Fu Jingwen, who was also the boss of the company spluttered.

Hearing that, Mrs. Yao let go of Jennie and kept a straight face while tidying up her appearance.

Jennie felt uneasy as her eyes met with Lisa's. She was a mess after the brawl with Mrs. Yao.

"Jennie framed him?" Lisa cut her off and hinted Zuo Qiu with a glance.

Jennie did not reply directly to that. Lisa was going to leave considering everything was already settled. Fu Jingwen stopped paying attention to Jennie and hurriedly escorted Lisa out.

Jennie walked back to her seat to pack her belongings. After the huge fuss, You Weiwen and Zhu Jingjing were not in the mood to pick on her. Especially Zhu Jingjing, she was worried if she could still keep her job.
