I went downstairs and mom and dad were sitting on the couch talking, it seemed important.
"Anna, can you come here?" Mom asked
I walked over and sat on the floor "Everything Ok?"
"Yeah, everything is fine. Its just, we got a call from Ms. Rowland, your orphanage lady" dad said while raising his eyebrows in an upsetting way
"What did she say?" I asked. Neither of them answered for a while "so..."
"Ms. Rowland said that she has been talking with the CPS(child protection service) and they said it would be better off for you to be a foster child." Mom said
"Yeah." I replied confused
"That means that you could end up switching houses a lot but, she said its most likely for you to stay here." Dad replied
I started to get upset because I didn't want to leave. "But this is home." I said
"We'll do our best." They said
I stood up and gave them both a hug then went to my room. I couldn't believe I would probably leave. They said it was most likely for me to stay which was good but, what if I did have to leave? I wasn't even going to worry about it.
It was late at night and I had school the next day and I started gym. I took a shower and then went to bed.
