Chapter 15

Ayla stood in awe at the sight of the ring. It was huge, bigger than the ones at the hotel gym and looks even well managed and more professional. The rings beside her was filled with wrestlers in their practice. None of them actually paid attention to her existence, so that was a relief for her.

"Ready, Horsy?" Kev placed an arm around her. She looked up at Kev and nodded. 

"Kev? Is that you?" A rough voice emerged from behind them, as they both turned around to find a guy probably in his 40s, had golden blond hair similar to Hunter's, tied up in a ponytail and was wearing a shirt with the performance center logo, which she assumes will be her coach for today. He looks good for his age, though. He had a charming charisma in him.

"Hell yeah buddy its me" Kev hugged the guy in front of him. The guy was only until Kev's shoulder level, so he must be around 6 feet.

"Oh its so good to see you, Kev. What are you doing here?" The guy looked up at Kev.

"Oh, I've brought a kid for a tryout. Hunter's orders" Kev pointed at Ayla.

Taker pulled Ayla in front of him. "Shawn, I want you to meet Ayla and Hayley. Girls, this is Shawn Michaels" 

Oh, so this is Shawn Michaels. Ayla extended her hand for him to shake. "It's nice to meet you, Mr Michaels" She smiled as broadly as she could.

To her surprise, Shawn pulled her into a hug. "Oh, please, Shawn is fine. Nice to meet you too, Ayla." He said and nodded at Hayley.

Ayla didn't know what to do, so she stood still in the hug, waiting for Shawn to break it, and to her relief, he did.

"So you're the kid I'm gonna evaluate today?" Shawn asked.

"Yes, sir"

"How old are you?"

"I'm 15 this year"

"15? I though you were 12" He joked. "I gotta be honest with you. When they said I will be evaluating a kid, I was expecting someone, well, bigger" He chuckled.

Ayla let out an awkward smile. Was he mocking her?

"Don't be so serious, chill kid. I'm just kidding" He laughed when he noticed Ayla's change of expression.

"Hunter told me about you. I must say, I am quite impressed already" Shawn smiled, his hand wrapped around her, pulling her close to his side.

"Kev and Taker has told me about you too" Ayla smiled.

Shawn's eyes widen. "They did? Oh, I hope they told good things that is" Shawn chuckled. 

"Well, most of it, yes" She joked, and Shawn laughed. He had a funny laugh that would make others laugh listening to him laugh. 

"Alright so, I'll be your coach for today. And all I need you to do is have a match against one of the wrestlers and show me a few moves that you know, and I'll evaluate you from there. It doesn't matter if you win or lose the match, all I evaluate is your moves and creativity in the ring. You got me?" He asked in a calm tone.

Ayla nodded. "Got it, Mr Michaels... Errr, Shawn" She bit her lip, and Shawn chuckled. 

"I can see it's your first time. Don't worry, I'm a pretty cool guy, you know?" Shawn smirked, making Ayla laugh. She was comfortable being with him already, although it has only been 10 minutes since they've met. 

"You better be nice to her, Michaels. Or you know what awaits you next. One finger you lay on that kid, and I won't be responsible for what I'll do next" Taker warned.

"Easy, big man. I know what I'm doing, okay? And Shawn Michaels never lays his hands on a woman, or a girl" Shawn winked at Ayla, making her blush a little. See, I told you he was charming. Ayla was sure he was good looking when he was younger. She'd only met him for a few minutes and she's already started to take a liking at him. Hehe.
