"Come on, let's go" Stephanie said. She was wearing a similar gown, just that hers is black on the top and green on the bottom, with the same gold belt around her waist. As the three walked downstairs, Ayla wondered why was the hallway dark. It was pitch dark.
"Steph, why is it so dark?" Ayla asked.
"Uh, I must have forgotten to turn them on" She managed. Wow, she really had lied a lot today.
Ayla shivered as she wasn't able to see in the dark. Hunter held her close.
"It's okay, it's okay, I'm right here" He comforted, patting her hand which was hooked on his arm.
Ayla felt other presences as they entered the living room, making her heart beat faster. "Hunter...."
She felt her hand slipped off of Hunter's arm. "Hunter? Where are you? Steph?"
She felt strong arms around her waist slowly lifting her off the ground, making her shriek. She knew this wasn't Hunter by the height of she was lifted off the ground. She immediately elbowed the person behind, earning a loud groan and she was immediately dropped to the ground. She felt familiar of the voice. It can't be...
"Surprise!" The lights pop up with loud screams of men, revealing all her friends that she hadn't seen in years. They were all dressed in the same suit and tie as Hunter. The living room was well decorated with a sign saying Happy Birthday Ayla! She stood there speechless, dumbfound. How could she forgot her own birthday?
"Happy birthday, Horsy" Only one person would call her that. She turned around to see Kev was the one who'd she'd elbowed. He extended his arms out, waiting for her to jump into his arms.
Ayla looked at him with stained eyes. Tears were ready to flow as she looked at the man she had missed for three years. He had white hair now and had grew a white beard as well but he was still looking tough like always.
Kev was worried when she didn't respond, he looked at Hunter for help.
"Ayla?" She felt Hunter call her, breaking her thoughts.
She was sure this wasn't a dream. She immediately jumped into Kev's arms and all hell broke loose. Tears begin to flow as she smelt the familiar scent on Kev's suit.
Kev smiled as he spun her around, one of his hand soothing the back of her head, trying to calm her down. She was shivering hard as she cried her heart out.
"Happy birthday Chica" Ayla heard another voice behind her. She was shifted from Kev's arms to Scott's arms like a baby. He hugged her tighter, his bad guy laugh filled her ears, something she really missed hearing.
He set her down as all the other men came to hug and wish her happy birthday, Billy, Jesse, Kane, Shawn, Kid and finally came Taker.
Ayla couldn't stop from her tears flowing as each of them came to greet her. Especially Taker. She begin crying aloud when Taker hugged her.
They all couldn't stop themselves from crying as well when they saw how happy and emotional the little child was when she saw all of them. Especially to see Taker and Kev. They all know how attached she is to Taker and Kev and vice versa. She may be 18 today but she will forever remain as their little kid.
She got off of Taker's arms and went back to Kev.
"Hey, kiddo" Kev greeted her. She playfully slapped Kev on his arm, making him ow in pain.
"It took you almost 3 years for you to come and visit me?" Ayla protested. "For three years, no calls, no text messages, let alone come and visit me and now you've come here after three years and say 'hey'??" Ayla looked red as hell. She slapped him on the arm again.
