Ayla [A WWE Multiverse]

Chapter 22

Hunter's limo brought them to the airport. Ayla and Hayley rode with Hunter, Shawn and Stephanie. Ayla wished she could have rode with Kev, Taker, Kane, Scott and Kid in the other limo. It was a little awkward with Hunter but at least, she had Shawn, so it wasn't very awkward. Stephanie and Hayley were having a little girly talk which didn't excite Ayla. Hunter and Shawn were talking about business which didn't excite Ayla either. She remained silent the whole ride to the airport. Of course, Shawn wrapped an arm around her the whole time, which a little much did comfort her.

Once they reached the airport, they waited for the other limo to arrive and then they boarded the flight together. The whole flight was booked by the company, so practically it was full of wrestlers and backstage crews. Ayla got a few stares since none of them knew who she was, except for her friends. 

Ayla was seated between Shawn and Taker, Hayley was on the other side of the plane, seated between Kev and Kane. They were flying to Austin, Texas. Ayla and Hayley will be staying on their own starting from now on in the guest house that the company is providing. So, it was gonna be a goodbye to Kev, Scott and Kid since they won't be having a segment after the one at Austin next week. Ayla was really heartbroken to hear that she wouldn't be seeing Kev for some time after Raw next week. 

"You okay, little one?" Taker held her hand when she seemed a little zoned out and quiet the whole time.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine, just, I'm gonna miss Kev" Ayla whispered.

Taker smiled. "It's okay, little one. We'll have a whole week with Kev. We will spend most of the time with him this week, alright?" 

Ayla nodded.

"That's true, little duckling. And guess what, Kev has planned a whole week ahead to be spent with the you two sweethearts" Shawn said.

Ayla's eyes shimmered. "Really?"

"Of course, baby girl" Shawn ruffled her hair, making her hair messy.

"Hey, I worked hard on that hairstyle" Taker swatted Shawn's hand, fixing Ayla's hair on the top.

"Ouch, jeez dead man. Since when did you become a hairstylist?" Shawn rubbed the back of his hand that Taker had swatted.

"Since forever" Taker rolled his eyes. Ayla remembered that Taker had told he usually does his wife, Michelle and 2 year old daughter, Kaia's hair everyday. And trust me when I say, Taker really has good talent in hairstyling.

Taker smiled when he was satisfied with his work on her hair. He wrapped an arm around Ayla, bringing her close to him. They settled in for a movie. The back of each seat came with attached screens and they could stream whatever they wanted.

Taker and Ayla shared a screen and watched a movie together. It wasn't really interesting so they chatted about random stuff instead.

The plane ride finished faster than expected. Once they landed, they went straight to the guest house. Hunter told that they all were gonna stay in the guest house for this whole week. They figured it would be more comfortable there since it was a huge house.

 They reached a double-story house which had a huge lawn. It was too big for two girls to stay there.

Kev, Taker, Kane, Shawn, Scott, Kid, Hunter and Steph were only gonna stay with them here for this whole week. And after that, Ayla and Hayley will have this huge house all to themselves. 

"You girls go on in. We'll get your stuff" Taker said as Ayla and Hayley went on in with Hunter. The house was beautiful. It had 5 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen with complete facilities, a living room, a dining room. And the best part is, it had its own gym and a pool. One word, heaven. It was a little smaller than the Lude's mansion, but that wasn't even close to home. This, however, is home.
