Ranboo leaned on the counters, writing down the recipe for the burgers. Again, just to make sure he wouldn't forget. Tommy had left a while ago and Wilbur sat under a tree in front of the burger van. It was quiet, and Ranboo enjoyed it. He thought it went well with the warm weather.
Ranboo glanced up when he heard Wilbur's voice, seeing Quackity walking past him. Ranboo watched as Quackity turned around when Wilbur called him. It seemed as if they were arguing again, Ranboo just sighed and continued writing. As expected he started to hear the anger in both of their tones and Wilbur was now standing, trying to piss off Quackity with his height.
'I'm going to say it, these two are just very predictable.'
Ranboo placed his elbows on the table, watching them argue with each other. He guessed what it was about this time, it was a fun game to play in his head when he didn't know.
'Wasn't Wilbur just sitting under the tree, and Quackity was just walking? Jeez, this might be a hard one to guess. There's not too much context.'
Ranboo smirked to himself as he thought about any possible reasons for their current pointless arguing. Normally everyone would let them just bicker with each other. Mostly because they all knew it wasn't worth trying, the two would start up on each other again sometime soon.
Luckily so far they've only had to try and stop three or four fights because they started to get a bit physical.
Then Ranboo remembered the growing bump on Wilbur's head. Ranboo glanced over at Wilbur, tilting his own head in confusion. 'Just when he sat under the tree he still had the ice pack on his head. He really took it off when Quackity arrived huh?'
Ranboo found that funny, seeing the ice pack laying there under the tree while Wilbur and Quackity stood only metres away from it, arguing. Ranboo walked out of the van, 'This should be fun.'
He was now under the tree, squatting to pick up the cold bag of ice. Then Ranboo took three steps to stand to the side of the two. He cleared his throat, catching both of their attention.
"Hey Quackity," he waved. Quackity gave a small wave back. Ranboo then turned to Wilbur, "Not to interrupt but you left this. That big bruised bump won't heal itself."
Wilbur looked down at the bag of ice in Ranboo's hand, he eyed Quackity before grabbing it. Ranboo noticed how Wilbur tried to resist the urge to place it back on his head.
"What even happened?" Quackity said, eyes looking at Wilbur's head trying to find any injury.
Wilbur stayed silent, his gaze shifted to the bag in his hands. Ranboo just smiled, "We were playing hide and seek. He had a really good hiding spot but when Tommy and I found him he didn't even notice us so he got a little startled. Which ended up with him almost falling off of a cobblestone tower and hitting his head."
Ranboo ignored the way Wilbur was staring at him now, 'Sure he's mad, but soon he'll realize there's no harm.'
Quackity let out a little laugh, "Too bad you didn't fall, Wilbur."
"That's not-" Ranboo mumbled as he looked between the two, sighing as Wilbur didn't seem to care. What he did seem to care about was his injury, finally, he brought the ice to his head.
"Too bad you weren't there," Wilbur said, "I could've pushed you off."
As Ranboo expected, Quackity rolled his eyes. 'Quackity does that a lot.'
"More like too bad you weren't there because it would've been neat to hang out with you," Ranboo spoke, sending his own glare to Wilbur. Quackity nodded slowly, "Thanks Ranboo. You're not a two-faced prick like Wilbur and I appreciate that a lot."
