Quackity woke up with ease, eyes flitting open to the morning light. Blinking, he finally registered the low humming next to him.
Quackity glanced to the right, seeing Wilbur sitting up in the bed, an arm wrapped around Quackity gently as he looked down at the communicator in his hands.
"Hey," Quackity mumbled, voice laced with sleep as he stretched out a hand to lazily rest over Wilbur.
"Good morning, beautiful." Wilbur glanced over at him, smiling softly after setting his communicator down and resting his arm over Quackity.
Quackity rolled his eyes, not even a sleepy state could stop his sarcastic scoff as he sat up, Wilbur's arms falling onto the bed. "You're so ridiculous."
Wilbur's smile only grew, the sheets falling off as he leaned over, lifting his arm to try and side hug Quackity. "Mhm, but you love it."
"That's what you say," Quackity said with a huff, still, he melted into Wilbur's hold.
"That's what I know."
"You know what I know? It's time to get out of bed."
So Quackity slipped out of Wilbur's arms, hopping off the bed despite wanting to stay with Wilbur for a while longer. When he looked back Wilbur was now sitting there with crossed arms, a fake frown on his face.
"You're so rude."
"Come on, get outta bed," Quackity simply said, placing a hand on Wilbur's shoulder before walking away and getting ready.
Reluctantly and eventually, Wilbur slid out of bed.
Out of bed into some clean clothes and into the kitchen for breakfast with Quackity, then out of the house, into the Ranvan. So it goes.
"Good morning." Wilbur hummed, undoing a knot in his work apron as he greeted the other.
"Oi, my name's Big Man," Tommy said, faking a serious glare as he walked up to Wilbur and placed a hand on his shoulder. "So you call me as such. Ya stranger."
Wilbur tilted his head away, holding down a laugh as he simply shrugged. "Tommy-"
"Big Man."
"Right, because that's a title you could get." Wilbur scoffed teasingly, brushing past Tommy.
Tommy frowned. "What the hell?"
"You heard me."
"You're a prick."
"Hm." Wilbur thought for a second, a smile pulling on his lips as he turned back to Tommy. "You know, I think Quackity says prick more than I ever do."
Tommy groaned, tearing away from Wilbur and crossing his arms. "Of course, let's just talk about your beautiful boyfriend. And how in love you are with him. How you're going to ask him to marry you."
"Tommy."
"Wilbur."
"Tomm-"
"Wilbur..." Tommy repeated, letting it fall silent as Wilbur was about to leave. "And Quackity sitting in a tree. K i s s i-"
"Oh just grow up," Wilbur mumbled, an annoyed expression on his face that only changed as Ranboo and Tina walked in. "Ranboo, Tina.
Ranboo nodded in response, slightly smiling at the two brothers as he and Tina walked in. Ranboo and Tina normally walked to work together, then left together if it was a bit too dark out. So they both normally arrived at the same time.
"Hey guys," Tina said with a smile, making her way over and throwing on her apron. Tommy huffed out a laugh, crossing his arms with a grin.
"Hey, name's Big Man," he said, nodding his head up and earning disapproving looks from everyone in the van. He sighed, a frown on his face. "Fine, fine, my name's Tommy Innit and I', just so glad to be working with Wilbur in this van of ours."
