Quackity sat in the shade of the red and white umbrella. He watched as Wilbur just stood in the grass for a moment. The man finally turned back and walked over to Quackity, "Was that a bit weird for you? Or am I just a bit of an idiot?"
"Both," Quackity said. He looked up to see Wilbur frown at him.
"It was weird but you are an idiot as well."
"Why do you call me such rude names," Wilbur took a seat next to him. "I call you by your name."
"Not all the time."
Wilbur scoffed, "Sorry darling. I almost forgot."
"Why do you even call me that?" Quackity questioned with a scrunch of his face. Wilbur leaned back on the table, facing the opposite way you would normally sit on a bench, "Am I not allowed to? Thought you said you liked it."
"Didn't." Quackity hung his head, fiddling with the table cloth. Wilbur placed a hand on top of Quackity's "Leave the table cloth."
"Not the boss," Quackity retorted with a shove. "Not your concern."
Wilbur gripped Quackity's wrist, "Technically I am the boss. This is my burger van. Meaning it's also my concern."
Quackity huffed but dropped his hands at his sides in defeat. Wilbur hummed with satisfaction, "Wouldn't want the customers using torn-up table cloths would we?"
Quackity turned to face Wilbur, who was extremely close, "Shut up."
Wilbur gave an evil-looking grin, "You are so funny. Talking to me the way you do."
"What does that mean?" Quackity asked with a scoff. Wilbur furrowed his brow, "Means you don't get to talk to me like that."
"Since when were there rules about that?" Quackity asked sarcastically and placed a hand on the table. Wilbur leaned forward, looking into Quackity's scowling eyes. He paused when he noticed the pink starting to appear on Quackity's face. 'He's blushing?'
Come to think of it, Quackity walked up towards Wilbur with that same shade of pink spread across his face before they started to argue. 'Wait, he would've thought I was the only one here. Quackity didn't know Ranboo would be here because he was supposed to leave around an hour before he did.' Wilbur smirked, 'He came here to see me?'
Quackity's eyes shifted from Wilbur's to the table. The blush was becoming more apparent as Wilbur watched. "Why are you really here Quackity?" Wilbur asked, "What do you want?"
"Nothing." He mumbled after a while of silence. Wilbur snuck his hand on top of Quackity's, "Don't lie to me."
Wilbur watched as Quackity's gaze fluttered to their hands before quickly returning to Wilbur, "So tell me what you want."
"I don't know why you're asking me that," Quackity said with a frown, but the pink didn't fade from his face. Wilbur couldn't help the smile spread across his face, "I'm asking you because when you came over you would have thought I was the only one here. You came here to see me. Now tell me what you want?"
"That's not true," Quackity replied instantly and shook his head slowly. Wilbur let out a small giggle, "But I know it is Big Q. You don't have to lie to me."
"Wilbur, I hate you," Quackity said with a blank face, "You're so nosy."
"That's fine with me, I hate you too."
Wilbur could feel the heat rising onto his own cheeks, they were so close and Quackity was looking a bit too beautiful and a bit too lonely. 'I don't actually hate you, I like you.'
