Quackity kicked a pebble to the side, listening to it hit the pretty cobblestone path he was walking on. Trees surrounded him everywhere, their dark branches creating an ongoing arch over the pathway. Quackity glances up at the sky, biting his lip as he looks back in front of him.

He was nervous, very, very nervous. Still, one step at a time, he makes his way into the small country. He eyed the variety of mushrooms and flowers that are growing everywhere, smiling when he sees a bunny in the mix of it.

It hopped away, creating a break in the tall green grass, and Quackity returns to walking. He was practically shaking with how nervous he was. He tried to gulp down the feelings as there was an opening, revealing the buildings of Kinoko Kingdom.

It was a beautiful country, Quackity admitted. But he didn't care to glance around any longer, he was not here to sit in awe at the place. A voice calling his name made him turn to his left as quick as he could, expecting someone different. But instead, he was met with Sam.

"Oh hey, Sam." Quackity greeted him with a wave, straightening his posture as he walked over. Sam was leaning against one of the mushroom houses, a small towel draped over his shoulder and a pickaxe in his hand. He put it back in his inventory, letting out a huff as Quackity leaned next to him.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at Quackity before looking past him. Quackity lost his words for a second, tilting his head to the side as he stalled.

"Do you know where I can find two people around here?"

"Oh." Sam's realisation was instant, his eyes softening and once again Quackity could see the 'motherliness' in them. "Yea I know where they are."

"Great, lead the way, creeper man." Quackity came up with the new name, trying to convince himself that he wasn't totally shaking right now. "I'll follow."

Sam held back whatever he was about to say. Instead, he set the extra items in his hands down on a small table outside of the house. He spared Quackity a glance before he started walking, the other following.

"I'll let them know you're here," Sam said, walking up to yet another house inside of a mushroom. Quackity only nodded, letting out a low breath as Sam walked inside.

He returned almost so quickly that Quackity doubted they were even in there. But he didn't say anything. Sam walked up to him, placing one of his rough hands on his shoulder. His touch was gentle despite the way he looked, well, besides his caring eyes that Quackity didn't meet.

"I'll give you some space. I have work to do anyway. Just-" Sam paused with a sigh. "You can always come talk to me, alright?"

"I know," Quackity said, giving Sam a smile for his kindness. Sam had always been there and Quackity was forever grateful for that. "You say that a lot."

Sam clicked his tongue, stepping back with a grin. "Because it's always an option."

"Thanks, Sam."

"Of course. I'll get to work now."

And with that Sam walked away, revealing the two figures who are walking out of the dark oak door. Karl waved at Quackity, greeting him with a "Hello."

Sapnap followed shortly, looking around his country before finally looking at Quackity. "Hey."

And now Quackity was mentally cursing himself for not thinking a single thing through, he just walked all the way here without even knowing what to say. Before he could say anything Karl's talking.

"If this is about when I came to Las Nevadas that one time, I'm sorry. You're right, there were clearly things I didn't know-"

"That's not why I'm here." Quackity cut him off. "And you're fine. Don't stress about that."
