The past week seemed to go by insufferably slow. Wilbur would spend his days handing out burgers or taking orders. When he wasn't at work he just sat in his room, in silence as he thought. As he predicted, Tina did get out of her anxious and ashamed habits. Now what was on his plate was the weird glances Tommy and Ranboo were giving each other almost every day at work. Sometimes they would even look over at him and then back at each other, if he was honest it was pissing him off.

With a knock at his door, he walked over from the food at the counter, 'Wasn't hungry anyway.'

He opened the door to see Tina and Foolish. His confused face quickly changed to a small smile, "Hey. Do you need anything?"

Tina shifted on her feet and looked up at Wilbur, "Since there's no work today I was wondering if the three of us could hang out? Sort of a way to say thank you for letting me have this job."

Wilbur melted, Tina was so perfectly nice. He feels bad that she even has to come to work because he knows he's being a prick to everyone. His small smile widened into a more genuine one, "Tina you don't have to. It's a reward to work with someone like you."

"Same goes with you," Tina said, "Now hang with us." Wilbur turned to Foolish who nodded, "It would be great if you did."

Wilbur pressed his lips into a thin line, it's not like he had anything to do. All he does is work and sit in his room. Maybe he'll benefit from going out, "Sure. What are we gonna do?"

"I was thinking of showing you around Kinoko Kingdom," Tina said insistingly, "It's so beautiful and I feel like I talk about it too often to not show you."

Foolish seemed hesitant at Tina's suggestion for only a second, tensing his lips like he was going to say something. Foolish remained silent and Wilbur took a second to even remember what Kinoko Kingdom was.

'Wait, that's where Karl and Sapnap live.' Wilbur reached for the doorknob, "Give me just a second."

Wilbur didn't know whether he wanted to go or not. He almost felt sick at the thought of seeing the two in person and it's all because of Quackity. He groans as he can practically hear Quackity's words in his head. It's not like the two would know about Quackity and him ever doing anything. It's not like it'll happen again, Quackity hates him.

"You three are awful" it sounded so clear in Wilbur's ears. He looked down at his boots, contemplating whether to open the door or not. 'Fuck it, let's see if I'm anything like them.'

Wilbur opened the door and shut it behind him before placing a hand on Foolish's shoulder. Being one of the few people taller than Wilbur he lowered his gaze to Wilbur who just grinned, "Kinoko Kingdom yeah? You built that place?"

"Oh, yes I did," Foolish beamed a bit. Wilbur shoved his hands in his pockets, "You built that summer home as well?" Foolish nodded at first, "That one too- wait when did you visit it?"

"The day right after our grand openings Foolish," Wilbur said casually. Foolish looked like he was about to say something but kept it in his head. Tina steps in front of the two, adjusting her hair before speaking, "We could even eat there if you're hungry."

Wilbur's mind falls back to the almost bare sandwich he put back in the fridge. He doesn't have much food, too busy with work, or not caring enough to put a decent amount of quality food in the kitchen. Tommy eats somewhere else most of the time anyway, so he doesn't need the quality anyway.

"What do you think we'd be eating?" Wilbur asks. Tina groans at her bangs, but still listens to Wilbur, "Probably some mushroom soup with pork chops. Random but it's what we got."
