Quackity woke up with a groan and with heavy eyes, he glanced around the room, 'It's fuckin bright.'
It felt as if he stayed in the office for the whole twenty-four hours yesterday, signing pages and checking on things. Quackity seemed it was reasonable since the day before yesterday he went to a party. Even if was to celebrate his country he still felt like afterwards, he should start getting back to work. He presses his hands down on the desk, sheets are scattered all over. His head hurts from all of the work yesterday, sitting there in a pile of papers.
He's thankful for the glass of water sitting on the opposite side of the desk. He reached over, gulping it down. It wasn't refreshing, but it would do. With a huff, he pushes himself off of the chair and onto his feet. He stands still for a second, the air conditioning becoming prominently loud in his ears.
Quackity ignores the loud humming as he reaches into his pocket, grabbing his keys. He drags his way out of the office, nodding in satisfaction as he hears the click of the lock. He turns his head from the door, practically jumping at the figure standing there.
"Slime!" he gasps, as the other just stands there smiling. He leans off the door he almost tumbled on and clears his throat, "Slime, what are you doing? Uh- also don't do that again."
"Do what?" Slime asks with a tilt of his head. Quackity holds back a yawn and fixes his beanie. "Don't just appear out of nowhere like that. It scared me half to fucking death.""Oh I'm sorry," Slime's smile faded, "I didn't mean to take away half of your time here on this earth."
Quackity couldn't help but chuckle, "It's a saying Slime. You didn't actually-"
With the relieving news, Slime threw his hands up, "Oh thank goodness!"
Quackity cuffed his ears with a frown, "Maybe don't be so loud alright? I just woke up."
"Sorry Quackity from Las Nevadas. I'll try to not be so loud."
Quackity mumbled a thank you before walking past, of course, Slime didn't hesitate to follow behind. Once Quackity stepped outside of the casino the bright light forced him to squeeze his eyes as he pulled his beanie down, "Ugh," he complained, "Sometimes I just hate how bright it is."
"Normally I sit in the dark, for centuries," Slime said. Making Quackity whip his head around in confusion to which Slime straightened his posture, "It's a saying. I haven't actually been around for centuries in the dark. That's impossible because I'm human." Quackity just shrugged as he stared at him awkwardly, "Yeah alright goofball. Now stop staring at me and let's walk around."
Quackity glanced over at the under-construction strip club, deciding it wasn't in need of a check-up he headed the other way. Walking up to Tubburger he once again pulled out his keys, letting Slime walk in first.
"I've just got to check up on a few things and then we can probably go hang out with Sam," Quackity said absently as he closed the door. He turned back, squinting his eyes behind the counter. He paused as he walked up to the counter, 'The hell is on the wall?'
He quickly strutted behind the counter, seeing that it was a poster taped on the wall. He groaned as he immediately knew who it was from.
"Enjoy my special gift for you." Quackity read the words out loud. He glanced all around the back counter, even checking the oven and shelves. Luckily nothing seemed out of place or broken. He scoffed, 'Wow, got me real good.'
Quackity went to walk to the back, where the storage room and freezer room were. But a large amount of light pouring from the door made Quackity hesitate for a second. He opened it up to see the storage room wall completely blown up. He walked on top of the door that was now laying on the floor, the storage room was a mess. It wasn't even a room at this point, half of the wall around it was blown up and all of the boxes had fallen due to the explosion.
