The elderly lady scoffed. "Bullshit." She said quietly, "Nobody fools Linda. I know wounds like that are NOT sport related."
Jordan grumbled awkwardly, "Yeah? So? I'm telling you they are and I don't give a shit if you believe me or not."
Linda was taken back, "Son, you have to tell someone about this if its not sport related." She said calmly.
Jordan rolled his eyes, "IT'S SPORT RELATED JESUS CHRIST! CAN I GO SIT DOWN NOW?" He yelled, drawing the attention of nurses and patients scattered around the area.
Linda simply nodded and Jordan turned on his heel to walk back to Amy and Will. Jordan threw himself down into a hard chair.
"What was that about?" Amy questioned. Will glanced over at him, eyes filled with concern.
"The receptionist didn't believe that these were sport related." He grumbled.
Will raised an eyebrow, "But they're not.." He whispered.
"Well I know that. But she doesn't have too. She's not the doctor." He grinned.
Will rolled his eyes, "You're lucky I like you. You're such a pain." He laughed.
Jordan laughed before laying his head on Will's shoulder. Amy took the paper work up to Linda and went to get a drink.
A few moments later a doctor appear before them.
"Jordan King?" He called out. He sighed and stood up.
"Right here." He mumbled. The doctor held out his hand an Jordan shook it.
"Hello. I'm Dr. Urie. I'll be taking a look at you today." He smiled.
"It's a nice sight." Will piped up from behind before realising he could be heard. His cheeks turned a shade of pink before slouching down in his seat.
"I'll wait here." Will whispered and pulled out his phone.
Dr. Urie laughed, "You're welcome to come with him." Will stood up and walked up behind Jordan.
"Okay!" He said happily. The doctor laughed and led the boys to a room for examination. Jordan hopped onto the patient chair.
Dr. Urie sat down in a chair with wheels and adjusted his tie. "Alright, Jordan." He said reading over the papers Linda had faxed to him.
"It says here you have wounds on your stomach, most of your torso and legs?" He asked.
Jordan nodded, "And on his face." Will mumbled from the corner of the room where he was leaning against the wall.
Dr. Urie pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose, "Oh, yes I see it now." He scribbled it down on his papers.
"How did you get these?" He asked, "Linda told me lacrosse?" Jordan laughed.
"No, they're from my dad. I just told her that to get her off my back." The doctor nodded.
"How many people know about this?" He asked as he leaned forward in his chair.
Jordan shifted his sitting position, "Including you?" He counted on his fingers, "Three." He thought for a moment.
"Unless my parents count. Then five." The doctor nodded once more.
"I'm going to need you to strip down to your boxers." He paused, "I know it's awkward, but it makes it easier for everyone." Jordan jumped off the table and undid his belt.
In a few minutes his pants and shirt were in a pile on the tile floor. "Thank you." Urie said and began his examination.
"We're going to need to do an X-ray of your ribs.." He mumbled as he poked and prodded Jordan's body.
When the doctor was finished he led them to the X-ray room. "Lay there and we'll do the X-ray." Jordan agreed and waited for the doctor to come back.
Minutes later he came back and said that three of his ribs were broken. "Three?" Will asked in shock.
Dr. Urie sighed, "Sadly, yes. As well as that I noticed that your stomach lacerations are slightly infected and your wrists-" Jordan cut him off.
"That's all?" He rambled off, "What about my back? Those hurt like hell."
Dr. Urie raised an eyebrow, "Ah, yes. They should be okay as long as they are cleaned regularly." The boys nodded.
"We just need a nurse to wrap you up. Other than that, you're free to go!" He said happily. The boys thanked him and walked back to the waiting area.
They waited for a nurse to come get him to wrap him up. When she finally showed up and wrapped him, they left.
After Amy got her drink, she texted Will saying she would wait in the car.
Right as they were out the doors Jordan stopped and turned to face a bush. "Jordan what are you d-" before Will could finishes his sentence Jordan threw up,
"I hate hospitals." Jordan grumbled and wiped his mouth. Will laughed and took his hand.
The boys walked hand in hand all the way to the car as Jordan grumbled like a cranky old man about how much he hated hospitals.
Will simply nodded and laughed when he would spew out insults that made no sense such as "the nurses remind me of squirrels trying to fly planes." Which he somehow managed to utter with a completely straight face.
