Chapter 14

The next few ours where spend in bed making out and fooling around. That was until Dodger came scratching at the bedroom door. "I think he feels ignored" i giggled, "if you are going to walk him ill make us dinner" i smiled. "You dont have to make dinner sweetheart" we can order something, "nope i am going to cook" i said smiling at him. I wiggled my way out of his arms making him whine and pout. "Come on Dodger is waiting for you" i smirked. I put on a shirt and shorts. Walking out of the room i let Dodger into the bedroom so he could beg Chris to get up. Dodger ran in jumping on the bed jumping all over Chris making him laugh, the scene playing in front of me made me smile and warmed my heart.

Walking to the kitchen my mind wondered, daydreaming over a future with Chris. But my beautiful daydream soon turned into worries and doubts, what if i wouldn't fit into his world. What if he would get bored with me. What would happen if he went back to work, being gone weeks.  What will happen when people find out, i felt myself spiraling. I shook my head trying to get the thoughts out of my head. 

Still deep in my own thoughts i was chopping vegetables, deciding to make lasagna Chris walked into the kitchen. Dodger on a leash he walked over to me peeking over my shoulder looking at what i was cooking. Kissing me on my cheek i snapped out of my thoughts, "you okay?" Chris asked. After giving me a kiss he walked out, great i thought to myself he must think i am pathetic, already being scared and emotional. Why cant i just be confident and enjoy this. I put the lasagna together and put it into the oven. While i cleaned up the kitchen Chris and Dodger walked back in. After he gave Dodger his dinner and putting clean water in his water bowl.

He was silent for a few moments, "sweetie your feelings are not silly you cant help how you feel. Please talk to me maybe i can take some of your worries away" he said kissing the top of my head again. I sighed again. "I just feel silly, i get inside of my head worrying to much about what is to come and not just enjoying the moment." He stayed silent just letting me talk, "Chris i am falling hard and the thought of loosing you scares me so much. What if you get bored with me, what if i dont fit in your world. what if......"

"Sweetheart stop" he said cutting me off. "First of all i am falling hard to i thought i knew what love was but what i feel for you is so much more then i ever felt for anyone. And the fact is that if my world doesn't accept you screw them. You're mine and i love you."   He puts his finger under my chin again lifting my face and giving me a sweet kiss. "I will do whatever i need to to protect you and make you happy" he whispers his mouth still hovering over mine. "I'm sorry for being a mess" i whispered back. "Okay" i whispered, the oven started beeping. "Saved by the bell" i chuckled, we set dinner up at the bar sitting down to eat. Talking and laughing forgetting my worries i had previously. 

Dinner was finished and we cleaned up. "I am going to take a quick shower" i said giving him a kiss "make yourself at home".
