It started at Christmas

Chapter 82

Chris pov. 

After i had hung up Liv assuring me everything was okay i called ma again. "Hey sweetheart, whats up."  I shook my head, "I dont know ma i think Liv is having a hard time with me being gone but she doesn't wanna talk to me about it." Ma smiled. "Sweetheart she just misses you but doesn't want you to feel guilty. She just needed a good night sleep she was fine when she was here to pick up the girls this afternoon...."  I sigh, "I dont know something is off. Can you keep an eye on her for me i know you are going over there tomorrow?"  She looks at me shocked. "Christopher Robert Evans! i am not going to spy on your wife for you. I will go to have a good time and enjoy some time with my granddaughters and daughter in law."  I sigh, "You dont have to tell me anything just help her out a bit maybe she is overwhelmed being with the girls alone."  Ma looks at me annoyed. "She is not Chris, she told me this afternoon she just misses you that is all. She is a great mother and you know this."   I look at ma in shock at her outburst  "Ma! I never said she isn't a great mother." 

"I will give her all my assistance if she asks for it..." my mother said "but what happens on girls night stays at girls night." I smiled seeing how much ma cared for Liv made me so happy.  Former girlfriends sometimes had issues with how close me and ma where... Liv embraced it and being close for many years to my family definitely helped with that. "I can live with that i am just a little worried."  Ma sighed, "I know sweetheart but dont worry Liv is a strong women, you must not forget that this is the first time you 2 have been away from each other for so long. You both have to adjust for this and find your way to deal with this." I nodded, after i hung up i went to bed.  I knew that Liv was doing fine but something was nagging at me.

Olivia pov.

I woke up and to my surprise the girls where still asleep. I took a quick shower and grabbed some cereal in the kitchen not feeling like cooking a big breakfast just for me.  I smiled at my phone as i got a text from Chris, it was a picture of him and Robert pulling a funny face. I decided to call him back on face time. The phone rang once and Chris appeared on screen. "Good morning baby" he said smiling.  "Ugh you two are the worst" i heard Robert yell in the background. I chuckled.  "Having fun?" i ask. He smiled and i knew he was really enjoying this project and that in turn made me happy.  

Robert pushed Chris away grabbing the phone and i started laughing. "I stole your wife" he yelled, i could hear Chris laughing in the background. Robert looked for a quiet place and sat down. "Well good morning Mrs Evans." he said smirking. "Well good morning Mr Downey." i said smirking back.  "Chris said you weren't feeling so well?" I rolled my eyes. "I am fine Robert. I was just tired i had a goodnight sleep and i am okay now."  Robert smiled at me. "He really misses you, you know." I smiled, "i miss him to but i dont want him to stop doing what he loves just because he has me and the kids now." 

"And that is why you are the perfect Mrs Evans" he said smiling. "Thank you" i said as i blushed. "So how is filming going." I said smiling.  "It is going great, we where so lucky to get Chris for this role even tho it is just a small part. It is so good to be working with him again."    I chuckled. "I am glad" i smiled. The phone was getting lifted and i heard Robert yelling "HEY!" and Chris appearing back on the screen.  "Can i talk to my wife now?" Chris said smiling. "If you must" Robert joked, he blew me a kiss trough the screen. "Bye Liv, talk to you soon, let Chris give you my number." I chuckled. "Stop hitting on my wife Downey" he yelled. "NEVERRRRRR!" Robert said laughing. 

I rolled my eyes, "is it always like this with you to?" Chris shrugged his shoulders. "Pretty much" Chris said smiling. "Where are the girls?" he asked "Still asleep believe it or not." i said smiling.  "I am going to wake them up soon."  We talked for a bit before he had to go. I walked to the nursery to my surprise the girls where awake but just entertaining each other.  I did the morning routine and put them in the playpen for some play time. I cleaned the house for a bit when a smell hit my nose making me run to the bathroom again throwing up. I groaned god i didn't miss this part of pregnancy. I just hoped that this time it wouldn't be triplets again. It was to early to find out and i didn't wanna find out on my own. I wanted the first ultrasound to be with Chris. I just hoped he would be happy about it. Since i had found out and had some time to process and i was really exited, but also anxious to Chris his reaction. I just hoped Lisa wouldn't find out today. I wanted Chris to be the first one and wanted to tell him in person.
