It started at Christmas

Chapter 34

Chris pov.

A week has gone by since New York,  We have had our meeting with the contractor and they where going to start next week getting a bonus if they could finish it before i left for my next  project.  I had asked Liv if she wanted to come along and she agreed after asking if i was really sure. But i wanted her with me, and she told me she was so happy to come along. We had rented a house near the set so i could be home every night and we could take Dodger and Asher with us. Asher was coming next week and we where so exited. We had been visiting Asher introducing him to Dodger and it couldn't have gone better. 

Tonight was the night that Liv her interviews where being aired and as a surprise i invited the family over to watch it together. Even Scott who was still staying in New York after he had been offered the role would be here. He was still staying at Seb's place having the place to himself since Seb been away filming so it was a win win. 

Liv was watering the plants Dodger in tow he followed her every where.  I had my mom bring the snacks not to spoil the surprise, Liv had been cleaning and keeping herself busy all day because off the nerves.  Her book had been released yesterday and her publicist had called saying that the book had been flying off the shelf's. I was so proud, she was amazing. She had done some more interviews on zoom.  I had my payback for her antics during one of her zoom interviews. 

The look on her face was amazing she was talking to a talk show host from the Netherlands.  I walked into the kitchen completely naked getting myself a glass of water and leaning against the counter flexing my muscles her eyes following my every move. She at that point had just closed the laptop mid interview blaming it later on connection issues. 

I could feel myself getting hard as i was thinking about that night but since everyone was gonna be here soon so i shook it off. Or could we have i quickie i grinned to myself but when i walked over to her the doorbell rang.  Great i thought to myself.

Olivia pov

The doorbell rang and as far as i knew we weren't expecting anyone, Chris walked to the door and when i looked around the corner the whole Evans clan stood there yelling surprise. I was confused, "what is all this it is not my birthday? i said. "No silly where here to watch your interviews." I groaned, "really!?  just kill me now." They all laughed, "Chris said you did great so it will be fine." I sighed, "I dont think i have a choice do i? "Nope" Lisa said,  "we brought snacks though." My eyes lit up "oooooeh what kind of snacks" i said sneaking a look in the bags. Chris laughed "yep snacks will do it." 

"OMG Scott you are here i cant believe it"  i said wrapping him in a big hug and not letting go i missed my friend. "Liv i cant breath" he said laughing, "right sorry sorry" and i let go. "Liv are you crying?" Scott asked. "I am just so happy to see you. i missed you." i said. He looked at me if i had grown 3 heads. But he pulled me in a hug, "i've missed you to sweetie." I greeted Shanna and Carly and we all walked into the living room. We talked for a bit about the remodel that started next week and about the things that had changed in the home, and about Chris his reaction to the new bed including the Iron man sheets that they had installed when we where in New York, showing them the video of his reaction. 

I streamed the video to the TV it showed me and Chris coming home, Chris walking in front of me into the bedroom asking why i was filming him. "WTF" you could hear when he saw our new bed with the iron man sheets. Before he started laughing, "i am not sleeping under that" you could here him yell. "Why not"? you could hear me say trying to be serious.  Then the video cut out because he had picked me up and thrown me on the bed, and you can picture the rest. "I had send the video to Mackie and Seb who then had send it to Robert"  i told everyone, "he called later asking what was wrong with Iron man sheets. And if Chris was out to start civil war 2. He then asked why he had Iron man sheets and that is when Chris pushed the phone in my hand, long story short i am his favorite in this house now..." i grinned.   Chris was looking at me his eyes had a mischievous sparkle in it. "I will get pay back" he said grinning.
