It started at Christmas

Chapter 55

We where now a few days later Chris has been working allot, he doesn't like being away from home but I assured him I would be fine.

It was 10.30 and I was on my way to the airport to pick up Lisa. Chris would be home late tonight but then he would be a few days off again.

He was annoyed with filming, they where behind on schedule and some days on set where longer then he wanted.

He went even so far to have arranged that I could come to set whenever I wanted. But I didn't wanna distract him or be in the way. Besides with him around writing wasn't going great since he kept distracting me.

David pulled into the parking lot and my phone rang a picture of Chris sleeping came on my screen. "He babe" i said, "whats up?" He sighed, "Nothing just checking in wanted to hear how you are doing."  I smiled, "I am doing okay babe, are you okay you dont sound good." He sighed again, "delays again. Things are a mess, they cant seem to get there shit together. Not to mention my co-star is being difficult." 

"I am sorry babe,"  i said. "Its okay baby its not your fault. What are you doing?" he asked. "I am going to the store to get some groceries." i said lying.  "Do you have security with you?" he asks. "Yes babe David is driving"  He sounded down i didn't like it. "Okay i will let you go," he said sadly. "Okay babe, just try to keep calm and relax a bit." 

After we hung up i arrived at the airport and i walked to the place Lisa and i agreed to meet. David followed closely making sure nobody got close to me.  

After waiting for 20 minutes i saw Lisa coming towards me. We hugged but we quickly went to the car. David put Lisa her stuff in the car and after he helped us in the car we took off. "Do you mind if we stop by the set?" i ask. "Chris is having a bad day and i think it would cheer him up, i understand if you rather go home to freshen up."She smiled at me, "No lets go to set she said, i wanna hug my boy." 

"David will you take us to the set please?" he nodded.  We arrived at the studio and without problems we got onto the set. David was leading us trough the chaos and i was holding on to Lisa the chaos around me was freaking me out. We got greeted by Chris his assistant who i had called telling him not to tell Chris i was coming. 

He let us into his trailer and told us he was filming right now so it might take a while. "Its okay we will be alright."  I said smiling.  About an hour later the door off the trailer swung open and a really annoyed looking Chris stepped into his trailer. Lisa went to hide, when we heard him coming. 

"Hey babe" i said smiling at him. His face whipped my way and the annoyed look disappeared and he walked over pulling me into a hug. "Are you happy to see me?" i said smirking, He let out a sigh wrapping his arms around me pulling me close, "you have no idea baby.." he said pulling me into a kiss. "Well i have a surprise for you..." i said smirking.  He looked at me a smile on his face, "you can come out now..." and Lisa stepped out showing herself. 

"Ma?" Chris said shocked. "Surprise sweetheart," she said smiling walking over and hugging Chris. "What... How.... When?"  Lisa and i both chuckled.  "Liv called the morning after the Oscars and arranged everything for me to visit" she said smiling. Chris pulled me into a hug and kissed me over and over, "thank you baby" he said. Lisa excused herself needing to go to the bathroom. "What brought this on..." he said smiling. "Well..." i said blushing  "after we told Seb, Mackie, Scarlet and Colin about the babies i felt guilty because i knew you wanted to tell your mother so badly and i felt guilty she wasn't the first to know so i thought i bring her out here and we can tell her together."
