It started at Christmas

Chapter 35

The contractors would start today, so we got up early.  We did our morning routine Chris went to work out in the room he had made into a gym. While i went to walk Dodger and make breakfast. After i would finish breakfast, i would go get Chris, the sight of him working out always made me weak in the knees. I loved the start of our days, it was peaceful and those little moments made me love him even more. 

After breakfast i cleaned up while Chris went to take a shower.  Most mornings i would join him. But today i got dressed and got my laptop and installed myself at the kitchen table, to work for a few hours. When Chris came out of the shower and had put on some clothes, the doorbell rang and Chris let our contractor and his workman in. He then went into his own office to learn his lines for the movie he was shooting. 

After a few hours i went to ask the workman if they wanted some coffee. I went back to the kitchen made a pot of coffee and went to Chris his office. I knocked on the door and walked in seeing him sitting behind his desk reading the script of the movie. He looked up smiling at me and i walked around the desk and sat down in his lap. "I made some coffee you want some" i asked kissing him. "Sounds good," and we walked to the kitchen. I pored everyone their coffee and made myself a cup off tea. 

The guys talked with Chris about the renovations, but when it came to the aesthetics of the room he would say it was up to me, it being my office. I told them what i would like and they told me it was no problem. 

They went back to work and i decided to go for a run taking Dodger with me. I got changed into my running gear and said goodbye to Chris. I did my round and when i got back the guys where gone. I walked to Chris who was on the phone, he finished his conversation and hung up.

"I am going to get a shower" i said kissing him, "okay sweetheart on the bed is something for you to wear tonight because i am taking you out to dinner. We have reservations at 7." I smiled and gave him a kiss. I walked to the bedroom seeing a box on the bed opening it it revealed a beautiful black silk dress, i smiled as  i let the fabric run trough my fingers. I felt two arms wrap around my waist and Chris giving me a kiss in my neck. "You like it baby?" he asks, "i love it, you spoil me Mr. Evans. "Get used to is baby you deserve the world." I blushed, "well i am going to take a shower then." I turned on the water and stripped my clothes and got under the warm water. I scrubbed my whole body taking my time. I got out of the shower and dried myself off. I walked into the bedroom putting on the dress. The dress hugged my body fitting me like a second skin, so i decided against underwear because it would definitely show. The back was open, and a split on the side of the dress ended high on my thigh. It was a sophisticated dress yet sexy, the fabric feeling soft on my skin.

I picked some black stiletto heals to go with the dress and then put on some make up deciding to go for a smokey eye  with bright  red lips. I put my hair up leaving a few strands free framing my face. I spritz on some perfume and picked a little clutch putting in some essentials and walked into the living room. 

Chris stood with his back to me, he was wearing a black suit. When he noticed that i walked in the room he turned around. "Wow" he said, "you look...... wow." I smiled a small blush creeping on my face. He walked over to me grabbing me and twirling me slowly around. " You look beautiful" he whispered in my ear before he kissed my cheek. "You dont look so bad yourself" i said smiling at him. 

Chris his phone rang letting us know that our car was here. He helped me in my coat being the gentleman he is and grabbed my hand while we walked outside.  He opened the door of the car helping me in and walked around getting in himself and we took off.  "So?" i asked smiling at him "what is the occasion?"  "No occasion he said just wanted to take my girl out for a fancy dinner."
