It started at Christmas

Chapter 78

Olivia pov

Our walk was lovely, the air was getting cooler at night and the threes where changing color. We walked back to the house and there was a car in front of the house we both didn't recognized. As we walked closer the door to the car opened and Chris grabbed my hand pulling me close to protect me not knowing what was about to come. 

My heart sank as i saw to people get out of the care recognizing them, "Chris.. that are my parents. I dont want them near our girls" i said. "Can you take them inside while i handle this.." He sighed "Are you sure you wanna do this alone?"  My parents walked over to us and all i wanted was our girls out of this situation. "Olivia" my mom said and she looked at the pram, trying to take a look inside i pleaded with Chris to go inside. He got the message and walked inside. 

"Mother" i said making my voice sound as cold as possible. "Father" i said nodding at my dad. "What are you doing here?" i asked. "What do you mean what are we doing here?  We are here to meet our grandchildren" my mother said as if nothing ever happened. Part of me was in shock that they where even here.  "Well i am going to disappoint you... because that is not happening." 

"Dont be ridiculous Olivia" my dad started to say. but i cut him of. "NO" i said, "i am done with you two. You cant just show up expecting to meet my kids after everything you guys have said to me and done to me." My father tried to say something but i wouldn't let him. "My whole life you made me feel like everything i did was never good enough. Always criticizing what i do. and when i told you guys i didn't want what you wanted for my future you made my life hell. You really wanna know why i moved to America? Because of you, i couldn't stand being around you all the time anymore.  And now i found a man who loves me a family that supports me for who i am you wanna slither your way back in? Read my words, IT IS NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Ill be damned if i let you... around my kids..."

My mother scoffed, "you really think that man loves you? You really think his family accepts you for who you are?  You guys probably slept together once and got pregnant and being the decent man he is he married you...."  I was in shock...at the words of my mother...but not surprised. I finally saw her for the woman she truly is... "I need you to leave" we heard a voice say behind us. I turned around and i saw Chris standing behind me, "you are not welcome here." I could hear in his voice that he was trying very hard to keep calm. "We just wanna meet our grandchildren" my mother said again. "You dont have grandchildren i said because you are not my family anymore." 

Me and my family love Liv very much and dont ever try to insinuate anything else again. You could have been in our lives but your own actions made that is not happening. She said she doesn't want anything to do with you anymore and you only have yourself to blame for that. 

"You are gonna throw your family aside just like that?" my mother said. "Just like that?" i scoffed shaking my head. "Just leave" i said "you are not gonna get what you want." I was now shaking adrenaline racing trough my body. "So where are we going to stay?" my mother said. I looked at her confused, "what do you mean?" I said still looking utterly confused. "Well we thought we would stay with you?"  I couldn't take it anymore, and started laughing. "You really thought you where gonna stay with me and my husband?  Wow you guys are even more delusional than i thought. I dont need your negative energy in my house..."  I looked at Chris, "lets go inside i am done." He nodded, "go ahead ill be right there." 

I walked in the house straight to the nursery i needed to see my girls.

Chris pov.

I watched as Liv walked into the house before i turned to her parents. "I love your daughter" i said looking serious, "i love her so much that i couldn't wait to be her husband did it happen fast... yes. But i never loved someone as much as i loved her. In the time that i know her all you guys have done is make her sad and feel like she wasn't worth anything. She is and amazing woman more then you will ever know. I wont let you hurt her anymore, so leave. Go back home, there is nothing here for you, and this is me asking nice. I will do everything in my power to protect Liv and my kids. They will grow up feeling loved and not like Liv felt her whole life a disappointment. If you will not leave i will call the police and have you removed."  I crossed my arms in front of my chest.  "We did not do that..." her mother tried, i held up my hand stopping her from speaking. "I heard the phone calls i heard how you spoke to her. Now leave and dont ever come back." I walked inside and watched until they drove off.

I walked to the nursery knowing Liv would be there.  I smiled as i saw she was reading to the girls. "Are they gone?" she asked when she noticed me standing in the doorway. I nodded. "Good..." she said continuing to read. I walked over to her and kissed her forehead. "I am gonna order pizza, i love you" i said. I walked to the kitchen knowing that right now Liv wouldn't wanna talk. I ordered pizza and scrolled trough Instagram i smiled at the photo of me and the girls sleeping on the couch Liv had posted earlier. I liked it and put a heart in the comments. I chuckled at the comments from some of my friends. 

Liv walked into the kitchen and i put my phone away. "You okay?" i asked. She shook her head and wrapped her arms around me and buried her head in my chest is wrapped my arms around her holding her tight. "I got you sweetheart" i said as she started crying. "I just dont get what they are doing here. I always been a disappointment so now that i have kids they want to be part of my life? I dont want it" Liv said between sobs. "Dont worry baby it told them to never come back." She let out a sigh, "Good" she said. The doorbell rang and i could see she was slightly panicked thinking they had come back. "Its the pizza baby" i whispered. She let me go and i walked to the door. When i walked back i could see Liv staring at her phone. "My brother is calling me" she said. "My parent probably told them what happened and he calls to yell at me." She pressed the decline button and put the phone away. "Lets eat baby" i said, she nodded. 

After we ate we sat down and watched a movie just laying in each others arms. When the girls woke up we fed them and had them lay with us on the couch i couldn't help but feel extremely happy. I finally had the family i wanted. I kissed Liv, "i love you" i whispered. She smiled "I love you to" she said. "I wanna change my phone number so my family cant contact me any more" she said. "Okay baby we can take care of that tomorrow. Let put the girls to bed and then go to sleep. We didn't had enough sleep last night" i said smirking. She laughed.

We put the girls to bed and got to bed our self. Wrapping us around each other we fell asleep.
