It started at Christmas

Chapter 31

Today was the day we would drive to New York, after we left the house loading the suitcases and putting Dodger on the backseat we took off. We decided to take Dodger with us, knowing if i got nervous Dodger would be a good distraction. We drove to Scott to pick him up. As he got in the car he got greeted with a kiss from Dodger making us laugh. Singing along to the music and having lunch along the way about 5 hours later we arrived at New York driving to Seb's home where we would be staying. 

We parked in the underground parking garage and got out the car, taking the elevator up to the penthouse. Seb opened the door as soon as we arrived on the top floor greeting us. He showed us the bedrooms where we were staying. He gave me a tour of his place, Scott and Chris getting a drink in the kitchen being here before they opted out of the tour. After the tour we walked into the kitchen joining Chris and Scott. The doorbell rang and Seb left to open the door. Chris pulled me to his side his hand resting on my hip kissing the top of my head. 

"Look at that" we heard the familiar voice from Mackie. "If it isn't my favorite couple... and Scott."  I chuckled, Chris rolling his eyes. "Dont encourage them Mackie..." Scott said, "i like to sleep tonight" he said grinning, "What do you guys wanna do for dinner?" Seb asked. "I can cook something..." i said, "dont be silly you dont have to" Seb said. "I know i dont have to Seb but i like to, it will distract me and i like to cook."

Seb scratched the back of his neck, "i dont have anything you can cook..." he says. i normally order dinner. I rolled my eyes. "Do you have pen and paper?"  He opened a drawer and pulled out a note pad and pen and i wrote a shopping list. "Ill make you guys a deal, you guys get the stuff on my list and ill make you dinner...." Seb, Mackie and Chris left to do the shopping and Scott and i stayed behind catching up.

"Soooo" Scott started, "tell me how has living with my brother working out for you" he smirked. "Its great" i said the smile on my face growing while i thought of the last few days. "Ma told me what happened with you mother i am sorry about that." I shrugged my shoulders, "So how has living  alone been?" i ask changing the subject not wanting to talk about my family. 

Its been great i started painting the kitchen and living room he continued telling what else he had done and it made me smile knowing that he was so happy.  We kept catching up until the guys came back with all the groceries and i unpacked everything in the kitchen.  I made dinner while the guys where in the living doing whatever they where doing. When dinner was almost ready i asked them to set the table.  "You always seem to put us to work" Mackie complained. "Stop whining" i scolded Mackie making the rest laugh, they set the table i put the food down and we started dinner. 

After dinner we we sat down to watch a movie but i couldn't concentrate so i told the guys i was tired and went to bed. Chris came to bed not long after and after talking for a bit we both fell asleep.

I woke up early surprised at the fact i slept at all. I walked into the bathroom taking a shower and doing my morning routine. When i was brushing my hair Chris came walking in kissing my cheek and undressed and got in the shower. I watch his every move trough the mirror resisting the urge to join him, but instead i decided to put on some clothes deciding against putting on my outfit for the interview tonight to keep it nice and clean. I walked out of the room and into the main area, i got out my phone and ordered breakfast for everyone. Scott came out already showered and ready for the day making me frown. "Since when are you so early?" i ask. He shrugged his shoulders, "i went to bed early wanting to be rested for your big day." 

I groaned, "dont worry sweetheart you'll do great" Chris said coming up to me kissing my cheek. "I dont know about that..." i mumbled. The doorbell rang making Scott and Chris look confused. "I ordered breakfast" i said. I grabbed my wallet and walked to the door after i payed the delivery person i walked into the kitchen and we got everything out and ate breakfast. While we were eating Seb joined us, Mackie went home last night but promised to be back tonight after my first interview.
