It started at Christmas

Chapter 66

Chris pov

I woke up and looked beside me where Liv was still in a deep sleep. She looked so beautiful her face relaxed her eyelashes fanning  over her cheeks. She stirred and opened her eyes smiling at me. "Good morning" she said. "Good morning" i said kissing her beautiful lips. "Are you ready to move today?" i said smiling. She nodded. She hadn't been back at the old house Scott, Seb, Mackie and i had arranged everything with the movers and packed a few personal items ourselfs. 

Liv wouldn't go back and after i walked in and saw the house i couldn't blame her. The window that was broken was boarded up with a large wooden plate. Things where still knocked over. The house didn't feel a home anymore even though i had lived here happily for many years.

We had bought a beautiful house a few miles away. She had insisted we buy it together splitting the cost equal.  I had protested but there was no changing her mind if her name came on the paperwork she wanted to pay half to. It was a modern house with a lot of wood elements on the inside it was light and private and enough room for us all and a few guests. There was a guest house we where going to use for security to stay at as we where in LA at least for this stay to make sure Liv felt safe. 

It came with a pool, Jacuzzi, 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms and a large stone wall surrounding the whole property. The living and kitchen where a open plan setting. The garden was immense ideal for the dogs. There was a panic room what made me happy knowing that in the future i wasn't around she had a place to go if something went wrong. The alarms system was top notch which made us both feel safer. The house was just renovated so other than adding some personal touches there was nothing we had to do. 

We got out of bed and Liv made breakfast for everyone, while i went to walk the dogs. One by one they came into the kitchen. Seb first then Scott and Mackie and last was my mother.  We ate breakfast together before we all got into our cars and drove to the new place. 

As we walked in everyone fanned out around the house checking everything out. The dogs ran trough the open sliding door running around in the garden chasing each other. Liv and i stood in the kitchen i had pulled her into a hug just enjoying each others embrace. "This place is huge.." Scott said walking into the kitchen, "ideal for our scare war" he said grinning. Liv groaned at the thought of the last time Scott scared her she became so upset and started crying, making Scott all flustered and feel guilty. She later reassured him that it was just the hormones and that everything was fine.

Seb and Mackie came walking in laughing. "What are you two laughing about?" Liv asked. "Mackie got scared of his own reflection in the hallway mirror" Seb said laughing. "Nah man i got scared of yours." Liv and i both chuckled. 

"Seb...." Liv said walking over to him and pulling him into a hug "thank you" she said. He hugged her back and kissed her cheek. "Your welcome but no thanks needed i am actually gonna miss you..." They hugged again. "Nice to know where i stand..." i said grinning, "oh shut up" he said smiling. I walked up to him pulling him into a hug. "Seriously man we cant thank you enough for all you have done for us..." I took a step back, "all of you actually thank you" i said pulling Liv to my side. "I dont know what we would have done without you guys." Liv let out a little sob. "Sorry hormones again" 

"We cant indeed thank you guys enough" Liv said trough her tears. "But as a little thank you i wanna invite you all to dinner tonight no if or buts i am cooking."   "Dont have to ask me twice" Mackie said. They all nodded, "i will help you sweetheart" ma said. 

We had our dinner all together and after that Mackie and Seb left. Scott and Ma went to bed early they had an early flight out. We offered to take them but they had already arranged one of the security people to take them so we didn't have to leave and Liv could just sleep in.
