It started at Christmas

Chapter 48

The next few weeks went by way to fast and today was the day we would leave for LA for Chris to go film for his new movie. We had decided to go a few days early to have a few days to get settled.  We had a dinner last night at Lisa's house as a sort of farewell. 

We had packed some stuff but Chris insisted i go shopping there so in the future i had stuff there.

The media hadn't picked up on the engagement yet, but we both new that sooner or later the paparazzi in LA would see the ring and put two and two together so we decided before we would get on the plane we would post a photo that was made at the party on Chris his social media.  

It was a photo Scott had taken of me and Chris when we weren't looking.  I loved the picture because it was not posed. We where dancing my hand on his shoulder with the ring clearly visible and looking at each other like there where no other people in the room. Chris kept the caption simple with only 3 words. "She said yes....." 

His team had predicted that as the media would find out about the engagement they would go crazy. So Chris had arranged a private flight so we could have Asher and Dodger with us and could get in and out of the airport more quickly. 

We walked on the plane and once we where on board we put the dogs in the crates for takeoff the rest of the flight the could walk around but for takeoff and landing the had to be in their crates. 

We turned our cellphones off and sat down, once we took off i let the dogs out and i took Asher in my lap and dodger laid on the seat across from us. 

"Are you okay?" Chris asked, "yeah baby i am fine why do you ask?" He smiled at me,"Just checking" he said and he gave me a sweet kiss. "Do you wanna talk wedding plans?" he said smirking. "Yes" i said and i couldn't help but smile at Chris. "When do you wanna get married?" i asked. "I like to get married this year he said smiling i dont wanna wait to long."  

"How does a summer wedding sound?" i said smiling. Perfect he said kissing me again. "Do you want a big wedding baby?" he asks. "Oh please no" i said, "look it doesn't have to be super small but i dont want over the top. Just closest friends and family." 

"What about your family?" he carefully asked, i sighed "i dont know Chris i wanna enjoy my wedding day and with them there i wont enjoy it." He gave my hand a little squeeze, "I know baby" he said kissing my temple "i just wanted to let you know if you really want them there its okay, i can handle it. I let out a sigh, "I haven't even talked to them since the last phone call with my mom, they have called i just haven't answered. I dont want their negativity in my life anymore. I even thought about changing my number." 

"Who do you wanna be your best man?" i asked. "Scott for sure he said smiling that isn't even debatable." I laughed, "i should have known."

"You?" he asks, "i was thinking of asking Lana she is my best girlfriend so that is my pick." 

"Chris... i was thinking of asking your mother to walk me down the aisle" i said blushing. "I love that baby" he said as he pulled me into a kiss again. "Maybe we could make Seb and Mackie flower girls" i said smirking into our kiss. Chris bursts out laughing, grabbing his chest. "Are you serious?" he said looking at me. I shrugged my shoulders "it would be fun and wedding should be fun...."  "God i love you" he said kissing me passionately. 

For the next couple of hours we talked about what we wanted in our wedding. I loved that Chris was so involved and didn't go all you're the bride its your day on me.

"Chris can i ask you something?" i said, "of course baby whats up." he said looking at me worried due to my nervousness.  "Would you be very disappointed if i didn't wear white...?"  He planted a sweet kiss on my lips. "of course not baby what ever your comfortable in.  I wouldnt even care if you didn't wear a dress." I let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you" i said kissing him.
