It started at Christmas

Chapter 68

Chris pov

Liv was almost asleep when nurse Benson walked in. "I am sorry to disturb you" she said smiling "but i have something to eat and some iron pills..." Liv sat up right and took the pills and took them with some water. She looked at the food and her face said it all. "I am sorry but that doesn't smell good" Liv said. I chuckled and the nurse laughed. "What kind of snack would you like?" she said smiling. She looked at me, "can i have some subway?" she said pouting at me. "I really am craving a steak and cheese sub." I chuckled again. "Of course baby anything you want ill order some. Anything else you want?"  She thought about it for a second. " One of their  cookies" she said smiling.  "I'll make sure the delivery guy gets trough the nurse said smiling. If you need anything just push the button and i will be there." 

"Thank you" Liv said. I had ordered and Liv looked at the tray with a sandwich on it. "Can you please get it out the room" she whispered "it smells so bad." I chuckled. I threw the sandwich away i a bin outside the room and walked back in. I wanted to go sit on the chair when Liv made room in the bed again. "Can you please lay with me" she said, i smiled and crawled in. "I love you" she murmured, "i love you to sweetheart" i said kissing the top of her head. I was rubbing her belly when the nurse came in saying the delivery driver was here. She looked at Liv who was half asleep and offered to go get it so i wouldn't have to get up. I gave her some money and she left coming back with Liv her food.

I softly woke up Liv and told her the food was here. She smiled looking at the bag with the sandwiches and she ate. 

The rest of the night she was restless needing to get up and pee a few times and not being able to get comfortable. So when the doctor came at 6 in the morning on his rounds he gave us the all clear to go home. Telling Liv to keep taking the pills and to take it easy. She promised and after the nurse and i had handled all the paperwork i called ma to come and pick us up. 

After we had left the hospital and had picked up the car at ma's house we drove home. Liv sighed, "whats wrong baby?" i ask. "I feel like such a burden..." she said looking out of the window. "I mean i cant go anywhere i feel tired all the time we just gotten married and i am already a pain in your ass." 

I chuckled, "you're not a pain in my ass baby" i said smiling at here. "Besides you're growing our children you have every right to be a pain in the ass, but you are not. I love you baby so much but you have to stop fighting everything and just give in to the fact that you cant do everything right now. What do you say that if you feel up to it in a couple of days we go shopping for our girls i said smiling." 

We arrived at the house and i helped Liv install herself on the couch, "here is your book you where reading and a blanket and ill make you a snack and get you something to drink."  She sighed, "Chris..." she said in a soft voice.  "Yes baby?" She pouted at me. "Can you lay with me for a while?"  I smiled, "sure baby but first i am gonna make you something to eat the doctor said you needed to eat more."  She smiled at me. "Nothing with pickles please they make me nauseous."   "I know"  i said smiling at her. 

After we ate, i talked to my girls for a bit i had ordered some children books and was reading to them. They where pretty active and reading to them seem to calm them down. When i looked up i could see that Liv was asleep. She looked uncomfortable so i picked her up and carried her to the bedroom. I laid down beside her and on instinct she cuddled into me. 

As happy that i was having triplets i was worried about Liv, she was not having a easy pregnancy. We had decided to let the dogs stay at ma's for a few days so we could just concentrate on getting Liv in a better condition. 

A few days later Liv was feeling much better the pills helped enormous she had more energy and was feeling more like herself. Today we decided to do some shopping and she was all exited. I laughed as she waddled to the car i found it adorably cute. I opened the door of the car for her and helped her in. After i got in myself we took off to the first store. Knowing the babies would be born early we bought the littlest clothes everything was so tiny and Liv was excitedly walking around.

We picked out  cribs, closets and a stroller for triplets.  Liv came walking up to me a big grin on her face. "What?"  She had her arms around her back. "What have you got there baby?" i said towering over her. She looked up to me and showed me 3 onesies with a Captain America shield on them the text under it My dad is Captain America. "But i am no longer Captain America" i said grinning. She shrugged her shoulders, "to me you will always be Captain America" she said grinning. "Good to know" i said pulling her in for a kiss.

"Look mommy Captain America is kissing that lady..." we heard all of a sudden. We looked at the little boy standing next to us pointing up. We both started laughing, "i guess i am not the only one who you are still Captain America for" she whispered. I got down to his level and gave him a high five. His mother came walking apologizing, i told her it was fine and i took a picture with the kid. The mom looked at Liv and smiled. "Congratulations" she said to the both of us. "I saw your interview on Kimmel and i think you guys are going to be great parents." Liv blushed and thanked her. 

After we bought what i was sure was the whole store we loaded the things we could take with us immediately in the car. The rest like furniture, stroller, car seats and all the other big things would be delivered. "You wanna get some lunch?" i asked. "God yes" she exclaimed smiling. We went to her favorite burger place and ordered. 

After our lunch arrived we ate. Liv was looking at me. "Something wrong baby?"  She shook her head "Nope" she said smiling "just happy." I smiled, "me to baby i am happy you're feeling better." She smirked, "Me to" she said. "Have you thought about names?" she asked me. "I nodded, "Lets write them down and exchange them" she said smiling. 

We did and as i read hers and she mine we both laughed because at least one name was the same. "Well that is one name down 2 to go." she said smirking.

We finished lunch and left to go home. Liv took a nap and i got all the bags out of the car putting them in one of the guestrooms. After i did that i walked into the bedroom where Liv was sleeping and crawled in beside her. I looked at her asleep she was perfect and i rubbed her belly i softly talked to our girls until i fell asleep.
