Kai's pov

"I have tried to hack her cellphone and the last location is showing was her apartment. That was on few days back. And the mail she had sent to the Mr. Harper, is sent from a local store. I have hacked the cameras around the area and she was last seen getting on a local bus. That's all, just like that she disappeared. It's been few hours, I am trying to search for her and still haven't found where she had got down from that bus" Thomas said typing furiously on his laptop concentrating on it.

And I have been in my thoughts looking out of the window from the office. It's bright outside as sun is shining.

"Don't leave until you search the each cameras of the New York" I said playing with the necklace with my finger.

"That's what I am doing. And I am really surprised that Charlotte is Angelina. I mean Harper's family did a great job covering her up. Damn, even though I am a detective I fell for that" Thomas said murmuring the last sentence.

"I told you from the beginning but you refused to believe me" I said and put the necklace inside my shirt.

"How did you know" he asked. I turned around and walked to my chair behind the desk. I sat down and looked at him who sat on the couch with his legs on the tables.

"I knew from the beginning as soon as I saw her face. Then I was surprised to see her in my hotel working. That day I knew she was Angelina. Because she is allergic to mushroom and same goes with Luna. Then I tried few things like that and found out she is Angelina. But I was waiting for her to confess. And I thought I was close to it. Then this happened" I said. I sighed rubbing my face with my hands due to exhaustion.

I haven't got a wink of sleep last night.

Silence followed in the room.

"Who could it be them, that she changed her whole life" Thomas said.

I leaned back in the chair and looked up at the ceiling.

What last night Alice said, is still repeating in my head.

*Flashback*

"Who is 'them' " I asked.

Mr. Harper looked at Alice and even Mrs. Harper.

Alice sighed and looked at me in guilt.

"It's really not my place to tell. But I want to tell that, she is An... Angelina as you said" she said. Her mom squeezed her hand nodding her head at her her. Thomas took a deep breath beside me. I sat silently letting her to speak.

"I am only telling you this because, she needs helps. She is in danger if she ran away...... again. If I had known she would have run away, I would have stopped her and protected her. Even my family would have protected her. When she came here four years back, she was a broken girl struggling to lead her life and even Luna's" she said wipping her eyes as tears flow down her cheeks.

"Please Kai, help me find her. She is just innocent in this. She doesn't deserve this cruel world. Those people are just coming to ruin her. Please find her" she sobbed. Mrs. Harper hugged her consoling her.

Mr. Harper looked at us.

"If you need any help from us, our Cops are here. I know you are a influential man with good security and even you have your own detective" he said looking at Thomas "But we are also ready to help you if you want" he said.
