Chapter 35: A Genius Idea

(Gojo's p.o.v.)

Myself, Yuji, Aoi, Megumi, Nobara and  Asta's two diamond mage friends all sat down and chatted a little. I learned that Mars and Ladros helped the Diamond team defeat the cursed spirits. I was actually intrigued that two of the Diamond Kingdom's 8 Shining Generals were able to see curses. It gave me an idea that I wanted to propose to the higher ups, but I wanted to see if Mars and Ladros were on board with it. I said to them, "Hey, Mars and Ladros?" They brought their attention to me. I asked, "Tell me, do you guys want to become jujutsu sorcerers?" They were surprised by my question, like they weren't expecting me to ask them. Mars replied, "We appreciate the offer, but we're still Diamond Kingdom's top mages, we can't just up and leave." I knew that they were going to say that, and that's when I brought up my idea. "I actually have an idea about that. After talking with you two, I came up with an idea that I want to propose to the higher ups." They had a look of curiosity on their faces, and not just them, my students were also curious about my idea. I explained, "You see, we were always stationed in the Magic Region that splits the Spade Kingdom from the other 3 countries. Because of that, we had to travel for weeks or months to get to our mission areas. So, why not make things easier and set up branch divisions in the four kingdoms each hidden in a location where people normally never go? That way we can save time by simple sending sorcerers to mission points within the branch's jurisdiction." They all seemed to be very interested by my idea and began mulling over any problems that may come with it.

(Mars' p.o.v.)

'Building branch divisions in each of the four nations? That does sound interesting, and also more efficient than sending sorcerers from the Grand Magic Region. Also, me and Ladros wouldn't have to leave the Kingdom, we can just train in jujutsu in a secret location in Diamond borders.' I thought about Gojo's idea. I looked at Ladros and he looked at me. From the look in his eyes, I knew that he was in favor of the sorcerer's proposal. We looked back at Gojo and said, "We're on board!" He smiled and said to the other sorcerers, "Alright, guys let's round up the other two teams and head back home. We all need to report to the higher ups and I like to let them in on my proposal." He turned to face us and said, "When I get the answer from our bosses I'll come back and let you guys know." Ladros and I nodded, and they 5 sorcerers warped away.

(Yuta's p.o.v.)

Me and Mechamaru were on our way home when suddenly we heard a familiar voice from behind us said, "Damn it's cold here!" We turned around to see Gojo, Yuji, Todo, Fushiguro and Kugisaki standing there. Kokichi said to our teacher, "About time you came back, but your too late to the party. We just wiped out the curse army hours ago!" Gojo replied, "And I see that you two weren't injured, good job!" I said to him, "Good that you showed now, you can warp us all out of here. I seriously can't take the cold anymore!" Gojo replied, "Alright, but before we all head home, we need to pick up the brothers in Heart Kingdom first." The two of us nodded and we put our hands on Gojo and we warped to Heart Kingdom.

We had just finished packing up camp, and we were about to head out. Asta said, "I wonder what the higher ups will say when we tell them about the Queen of Heart?" I replied, "Well, when we tell them about the pact, it shouldn't be much trouble." Before Asta could say anything else, someone  appeared next to us and said, "Hey, guys, what's up?" We turned to see Gojo and the other teams. Asta said to them, "Hey guys, good to see you're all alright! And Gojo is back with souvenirs. What did you get us, Sensei?" I only just noticed that Gojo was holding a large box in his hand when Asta pointed it out. Gojo replied, "I brought back some kikufuku for you and the other students. I figured you and your brother would like to try them." We both started drooling when he told us what he had for us. He brought some kikufuku back on one of his business trips 2 years ago, and we both loved it. "I'll hand them out after we're done reporting to the brass. Come on, let's head home." We walked over to him and he warped us all back to the academy. The moment we got back everyone looked right at us and were amazed that we all came back alive. They started cheering, yelling, "Welcome back, guys!!!" We all were flattered by the warm welcome home. We all went inside the academy and made our way to the meeting room where the higher ups were waiting for us. We got to the room and went inside. The higher ups were pleased to see all of us alive, and one team at a time, we began to give our reports. Yuji and Todo reported that they had retrieved a special grade cursed object that was in the possession of the Wizard King. Yuta and Kokichi told them that they wiped out the curses easily with Yuta's reproduction of the Cursed Speech technique. Me and Asta informed them that we made a pact with the Queen of Heart Kingdom, the Water spirit, Undine, and the leader of the Spirit Guardians, Gaja in exchange for removing the devil's curse. And Fushiguro and Kugisaki informed them of the Two Diamond mages that Asta befriended a few years ago, and on that subject, Gojo proposed the establishment of branch divisions in the 4 kingdoms. The higher ups said that they would deliberate the proposal, and inform him of their decision and adjurned the meeting. We all went out and Gojo began handing out the kikufuku he brought home and we all enjoyed it. While I was eating, I began to wonder about what would the higher ups decide after the recent chain of events.
