Chapter 34: Gojo is Home

(Gojo's p.o.v.)

I finally got back from a 7 month long business trip to the land of the rising sun, with big box of kikufuku as souvenirs for my students. When I arrived at the academy, Yaga told me to report to the higher ups. I made my way to the meeting room, and I greeted them, with the box of kikufuku still in my hand. They said, "About time you got back, Gojo. We've been through hell while you were- What's that in your hand?" They noticed the box and said, "Kikufuku for my students." One of them replied, "You actually went and bought souvenirs while people were dying here?! You need to see a mental doctor!" The others said, "Anyway, while you were having fun overseas, we were attacked by your old classmate, Suguru Geto. He claimed that he was going to commit genocide against all non- sorcerers, starting with the obliteration of the capitals of the 4 nations." I was shocked that my best friend would actually do something like that. I asked them, "What was his plan?" They explained that he was sending thousands of curses to wipe out the cities and that they ordered eight of my students to stop them. I asked, "Who was sent where?" "Asta and Liebe went to Heart Kingdom, Kokichi Muta and Yuta Okkotsu had gone to Spade, Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki headed for Diamond, and Yuji Itadori and Aoi Todo were sent to Clover. They should be fighting the armys now." Knowing them, they should be able to hold there own. However, even if they managed to defeat all of those cursed spirits, they won't come out of it unscathed. They higher ups said, "Now that you're back, we need you to go to the four teams and bring them home if they're already done fighting, if not, then help them finish off the enemy first." I said with a salute, "Roger that!" I turned and left the room and went outside to warp to the teams.

I arrived at the capital of Clover Kingdom first. I searched for Yuji and Aoi, and I sensed them in a castle in the city. I assumed that a magic knight found them injured and brought them there to get treatment. I warped to the  window on the floor where I sensed them. I went inside at walked to the room Yuji and Aoi were. When I got there, I heard someone say, "This was stolen from my office two nights ago, mind telling me why you have it?" Curious I looked and saw that a blonde haired boy was holding a small box that I could tell was containing a special grade cursed object. I walked in an asked, "What's the situation?" Everyone in the room turn to me and Yuji said surprised, "Gojo? What are you doing here?!" I raised my hand and greeted, "Hey, Yuji, Aoi. It looks like you're both in a tight position, huh?" My students nodded, and asked, "What's that in your hand?" I told him it was kikufuku for him and the others. Aoi and Yuji both started drooling. I then heard a cough, and the blonde boy asked, "Excuse me, but who are you and how did you get in this castle?" I replied with a smile, "Just a teacher who came to pick up his students. And as for how I got inside, i came in through the window. Seriously, you should keep your windows open all day, that's how flys can get in." The boy said, "Unfortunately, we can't let your students leave just yet. You see, I have some important questions to ask them. Starting with, why did they have an item that was stolen from my office?" I replied, "Sorry kid, but what you have in your hand is too dangerous to keep in your house. We need to take it away to have it sealed somewhere." The boy responded, "I'm the current Wizard King, Julius Novachrono, and I can't let you three leave yet." I replied, "Oh, so you're the Wizard King that Asta told me about, the one that did nothing to help him?" The child Wizard King was surprised that I mentioned Asta. He asked, "You know Asta?" I replied, "Of course, he and his brother are my students. Some of my most talented in fact. But, sadly I don't have time to share stories with you." I warped to Yuji and Aoi, they grabbed onto me and I said to the Wizard King, "See ya!" I warped away to my next destination, Diamond Kingdom.

(Mars' p.o.v.)

I had healed Fushiguro's and Kugisaki's internal injuries a few hours ago, now we were just waiting for them to wake up. I was about to say something to Ladros when I heard groaning. We turned our heads to where it was coming from, and it was the two jujutsu sorcerers waking up. Fushiguro asked, "How long were we out?" Ladros answered, "A few hours." Kugisaki replied, "I still feel drained after that." I said, "Well, that's not surprising after how hard you guys were fighting." A voice suddenly said from behind us, "Damn you two, you both look terrible. You must've gotten a good thrashing." We all turned around and saw a young man with pink hair, a tall muscular man with black hair and a scar over his eye, and a white haired man wearing a blindfold and carrying a big box in his hand. Kugisaki said sarcastically, "You're finally back, Gojo." The man named Gojo replied, "Don't be in such a sour mood Nobara, I brought souvenirs for all of you." Fushiguro responded, "That's not the point, you took your sweet time getting back while we were fighting for our lives!!"  The pink haired man said, "That aside, who are these two?" He obviously meant us diamond mages. Ladros introduced us, "I'm Ladros and this is Mars. We're friends of Asta." Gojo smiled at that and introduced himself and the two men, "My name is Satoru Gojo, and these are Yuji Itadori and Aoi Todo, they my students who were assigned to defend Clover Kingdom's capital."
