"Babe," I heard Adrian say, trying to wake me up, but I was already awake, an hour ago at that.

"What do you want Adrian?" I didn't turn to face him.

"We need to talk, and it's morning," he was still shaking me.

"I don't want to talk to you," I pushed his hand away and he sighed.

"I'm sorry okay? That's why I want to talk to you." He touched me again and this time I didn't push his hand away.

"I'm listening," I still didn't turn to face him.

"I've just been having a hard time with work, you know I'm just getting a hang of this whole work thing." He pulled the covers away from my body. "I'm really sorry"

A small smile formed on my face and I slowly turned to face him, "I love you, and you know that right?"

"I do," he reached for my hand. "And I love you too."

"And that means," I sat up. "You can tell me anything and I will listen to you, even if it's just to complain, I will listen."

"I know babe, I'll do that next time, I promise," he kissed the back of my hand before he leaned forward and met my lips with his.

"So what do you want to do all day?" He got into bed with me and pulled the covers over us.

"Don't really know," I felt him shrug behind me. 'I just want to lay in bed with you all day."

I smiled and breathed in. "Have Victoria and Andrew decided a date for the wedding?"

"They're still contemplating, you know with Brayleigh around everything has to go in sync."

"I still can't believe I'm an aunt," I chuckled at the thought.

My best friend's Andrew and Victoria have a baby together before they could get married and let me say Brayleigh is just so adorable, now they're planning the wedding and I wish Adrian and I could be there to help them but we really have to sit back and work, we'll join them when we can. We were with them in Nigeria for most of the past year and a lot has really happened since after NYSC.

"Mum called me last night." He started and I noticed he went stiff behind me.

"Yeah?" I urged him to go on.

"And she asked when we'd be going to Nigeria for our wedding introduction."

I turned around and immediately our eyes met, we both busted out laughing. I don't know why we were laughing because he sounded so serious and we should really take this thing serious.

"What did you tell her?" I managed to ask.

"I told her that you're not ready for marriage yet and that she should calm down." He answered and wiped the corner of his eyes.
