Kidnapped (2/2)

"Arrest him!"

The two looked up, guard entering the room and ripping Janus away from Remus, who feel to the floor

"Janus!"

"Let me go!"

"You are under arrest for the kidnapping of prince Remus and treason to the kingdom."

"No! Wait!" Remus scrambled to his feet as Janus was taken from the room

"Remus! Thank goodness you're alright!"

"Roman? Roman! Wait you have to-"

"I was so worried about you!" He hugged his twin

"No roman you don't understand he-"

"I know Remus, it's ok now, you're safe."

"No roman will you please just listen to me!"

But the prince had already left. Remus ran as fast as he could back to the castle. He had to save Virgil and Janus, he had to. This wasn't just about getting them out of jail anymore. They would be executed for treason.

"Remus! There you are, we need to get you ready for tonight."

"Roman-"

"I know I know you like to get splattered with blood or whatever, you'll just have to change after. Now come on."

Roman grabbed his hand, dragging him to the court yard.

Remus hesitantly took his seat, looking around for the two

"Remus you ok? You usually love a good execution."

"No, we'll yes but no" he sighed, "I do but not this one, this can't happen! I need to stop it."

"But why? Remus what's going on?"

He turned to face azul, "it-"

"Ladies a gentleman! Here before you Janus and Virgil black will be executed for treason to the crown and kingdom!"

"No, nonono!"

"Remus?" Azul looked at their friend worriedly.

Janus and Virgil were pushed onto the platform, hands bound behind their back, hair cut clean from the neck.

"The eldest, Janus black!"

"NO!!"

Remus ran to the stage

Ignoring the gasp of people

The confused shouts of his brother and friend

The angry shouts of his father

Remus tackled Janus, tears streaming down his face

"No! No I'm not losing you! You win ok!?! You broke me! Just don't leave me! Please don't leave me!"

"Remus what are you doing!? They'll kill you for this!"

"I don't care! I love you! If you die so do I!"

"Remus what are you doing?!"

"I'm not going to sit by and watch my best friends and boyfriend die roman!"

"What? What are you talking about?"

"He's my boyfriend Roman! He didn't kidnap me!"

"But-"

"I asked him to make it look like that!"

"Guards, release these two." He hugged Remus, "I'm so sorry for not listening to you."

"I forgive you I guess."

Janus pulled Remus into a kiss, "what's this about me wining now?"

"Yeah yeah whatever, you can be my king."

"I was hoping you'd say that." He wiped the tears off Remus face

Remus smiled, kissing him once more.
