Little Roman

Roman leaned back in his chair, letting the pen fall from his hand onto the desk. 

How was he supposed to finish this by morning?

There were at least 20 pages left along with editing and only five hours left.

The prince ran a hand through his disheveled hair, looking around his messy room. This was no way for a prince to live.

He got up, stretching and started cleaning up, thoughts wandering elsewhere.

Roman bit his lip and shook his head, no, no he couldn't slip, he had work to do.

But he could so easily grab his blankie and play with the blocks

No, no work. He had to sit and work.

The prince caved, changing into something more comfortable and sitting in the floor with a box and his blankie

Logan poked his head in, smiling as he saw his prince playing. He walked in, closing the door softly and sitting across from the boy.

Roman looked up and smiled, "baba!"

"Hello my prince"

Roman moved his blocks and moves to sit on Logan's lap

"Now why is my charming prince up this late?"

"Roro working on stuff."

"Oh really?"

"Mhm!"

"We'll I think it's bed time now."

"But baba! I want to play!"

"We can play in the morning bud."

"Pinky promise" holds up his pinky

"Pinky promise." Latches his pinky onto Roman's

"Okay"

Logan smiles and kissed the princes head, getting up and laying Roman in bed. Once the prince was tucked in Logan cleaned up and sat on the edge of the bed.

"I want cuddles"

"Ok ok, hold on."

Logan flicked the nightlight on, taking his tie and glasses off, turning the lights off and getting in bed

Roman snuggled up close to the logical side, said side holding the younger close

"Good night baba!"

"Good night my sweet prince" he kissed his head, holding Roman close has he drifted off to sleep.
