Remus' Fear

A/N: So I may have posted on the wrong day and tomorrow is suppose to be another update....so three updates in one week because I say so!

Summary: Remus leaves like a normal person making Virgil suspisous and after dragging Roman with him they find out something about Remus that scares them.

TW: Self depercation, attempted suicide, metions of wanting to die, Remus angst

A/N: Text "Like this." means singing, text 'Like this' means thinking. This is my first time adding a song into the story...did I do good?

Virgil's Pov

"Where are you going and does Patton know?" I asked Remus from the couch not looking up from my phone.

"I'm going out for a walk and Patton does know I'm going out just not where..."

"And where are you going?"

"I don't know. My plan was to just start walking and see where I end up."

"How long will you be gone?"

"I'll be back before dinner, besides I'll be in the imagination. Just yell if you need something emo!"

He walked out not slamming the door like he always does. That made red flags go off, I got up walking to the door.

"Roman! Hurry up we need to leave! Now!"

He came running down the stairs almost tripping on the last few.

"What's wrong?"

"We need to follow Remus. Now."

"Why?"

"He didn't slam the door and red flags are going off. As Anxiety I need to make sure everything's ok and as his older brother by like a few minutes you're coming with me."

I dragged him out of the house following the distant green blob.

"Vee it's Remus, He'll be fine, if anything he'll come back with a little blood here and there like normal."

"No. He always slams the door. No matter what mood or whatever he's going to do. He didn't slam it and now I'm worried."

"Fine but if you dragged me away from my Disney movie for nothing I'm not going to be happy."

"Yeah, yeah whatever now come on before we lose him."

We followed Remus to a section of the imagination I've never been to before. It was to the left of Halloween Town and to the right of Remus' castle. But it was a big empty area with cliffs that overlook an ocean. Trees surrounded the outside of the area but otherwise there was nothing.

"Ro where are we?"

"This place is somewhat like the subconscious or the forgotten lake but you won't die if you go in the water. Thomas can still feel your effects if you want him to as well... I haven't been here in years."

"Why do you think Re is here?"

"I...I don't know... I'm starting to worry tho..."

We walked up the cliff staying a few yards back. He sat on the edge, his feet dangling over the end humming a song.

"So young and simple, wishing like things would come true. Now as I am, I understand it's best I die and soon."

My eyes widened and I took a slow step forward as he stood up.

"Just by living I'm hurting them another day. Hundreds cry, all I do is ruin everything. Nobody wanted me, no there to need. If only I could live in that kind of world I dream."
