A/N: Alright so everything from 'I flopped onto my bed as I went over the video.' to 'He scoffed before marching out the door slamming it shut behind him.' is a flash back of what happened before the story starts. After that it's normal

Roman’s Pov

I felt the tears come as Virgil slammed my door as he left.

‘What just happened?’

I flopped onto my bed as I went over the video.

‘Evil twin...Why did I say that? Gosh I’m an idiot…’

“Hey Ro I was wondering if-Roman? What happened?”

“The video was a disaster!”

“It couldn’t have been that bad.”

“I got called the evil twin...Thomas said I wasn’t his hero anymore…”

I felt more tears fall as I hugged the pillow tighter. I looked to my right as there was a weight on the right side of my bed.

“Hey you’re not the evil twin and if you’re not Thomas’ hero anymore then you can be mine and Dee’s.”

“I….I did something bad today…”

His brow furrowed in confusion, “What did you do?”

“Dee told us his name…”

“Really? It took forever for him to tell Remus and I.”

I flinched looking away.

“Ro what did you do?”

“I...I made fun of his name...I didn’t mean to it just kind of slipped out before I could think about it…”

“You did what!?”

“I know it’s terrible!”

Virgil got off the bed standing at the end, anger written clearly on his face.

“Do you know what you just did!?”

“Vee-”

“No. You just did one of the worst things ever Roman. I could handle it but Janus trusted you with his name and this is how you react!? How could you do that Roman.”

“I don’t know ok!” I sat up facing my emo boyfriend, “I don’t know why I did that but I did and I feel terrible!”

He scoffed before marching out the door slamming it shut behind him.

I hugged my knees to my chest rocking back and forth my head buried in my arms. There was a knock on the door.

“Go away!”

The door opened and closed with a soft click.

“I said go away.”

I didn’t look up as someone sat in front of me.

“Just leave me alone…”

“I’m not going to leave you alone until you’re ok.”

I looked up with wide, red teary eyes at the snake like man in front of me.

“Dee….I’m so sorry I don’t know why I said that….I’m sorry…”

“I know...I’m sorry too I shouldn’t have called you the evil twin.”

“I am the evil twin though…”

“What?”

“All I’ve done is make fun of and discriminate against the dark sides...my boyfriends and my brother… What kind of prince am I for that? I don’t deserve the crown I have…”

I looked up at the sound of a crack, my gaze going to the already broken crown on my desk to see it finally in two pieces. Jan followed my gaze turning around to see the broken crown. He turned back to face me, face filled with worry as he softly took my hand in his.

“Ro...why didn’t you say anything?”

“Not exactly the best time to with the wedding and what not…”

“That doesn’t matter. If you’re hurting then you need to come to me, to Virgil.”

“We’re not on the greatest terms right now…”

I looked away more tears threatening to fall. His free hand cupped my face gently bringing it to look at him.

“Ro what happened?”

“He came for something and asked what happened and then blew up at me for what I did...I deserved it but it still hurt…”

“Come on dry those tears and let’s go find him.”

“He doesn’t want to see me…”

“You don’t know that.”

“Why would he want to see me after what I did? Why did you want to see me after what I did?”

“Because I love you and I want to make sure you’re ok.”

I hugged him as more tears spilled.

“I’m so sorry Janny…”

“I know Ro, I know. Now come on let’s go talk to the emo.”

He stood up pulling me up with him and wiping the tears away with his gloved thumb. We walked out and down the hall stopping at the black door with purple plaid patches. Janus knocked holding my hand as we waited for the click of the lock. The door opened to a still slightly mad emo. I looked down in shame not able to look at the hate and anger in his eyes.

“Vee can we come in?”

“Fine.”

He opened the door all the way and Janus pulled me in. We sat on the bed and I just stared at the bed spread. The two talked but I couldn't hear what they were saying, just static. 

Fingers snapping in front of my face brought me back to earth, “Ro, are you with us now?”

“Y-yeah sorry…”

Virgil sat in front of me taking my hand in his, “I’m sorry Ro...I shouldn’t have blown up at you for that. I should have listened to both parts first before doing anything rash.”

“I deserved it…”

I looked back down only to have my head tilted up to meet Verge’s soft gaze.

“Don’t say that ok. Now how about a movie and cuddles to make you feel better.”

I nodded pulling him into a hug before laying down head on his chest. Jan laid next to me wrapping an arm around my waist.

“We’ll work on that broken crown later alright.”

I nodded burying my head into Vee’s hoodie.
