Janus' Fear

Summary: Virgil hears a voice from the bathroom, it sounds like someones fears. Opening the door he sees Janus about to do something bad.

Virgil’s Pov

I walked by the bathroom stopping when hearing voices.

‘Snakeface.’

‘Darkside.’

‘All you do is hurt Thomas.’

‘Deceit.’

‘Liar.’

‘Do it’.

‘Die.’

‘No one will notice.’

‘Cut.’

‘Stupid.’

‘Monster.’

‘Disgusting scales.’

‘Do it again.’

'It’s the only way to get rid of me.'

I open the door to see Janus holding a blade above his arm ready to cut. I ran over pulling the razor out of his hand. He looked up with wide glossy eyes.

“Vee?”

“What the heck were you thinking?”

I hugged him tightly, tears pricking at my eyes.

“I...I don’t know…”

“I can’t lose you J, you're my brother...I love you, don't leave me...please.”

“I won’t Vee, I won’t.”

“Logan!”

I heard footsteps run up the stairs stopping in front of the bathroom.

“What’s wrong? What happened?”

Logan sat down behind Janus as I held up the unused blade.

He looked down at J’s shaking form, “Did you…”

“No he was going to but I stopped him.”

“J…”

Logan hugged him and I let go. Janus turned around clinging to Logan.

“Shhh you’re going to be ok, I’m here, everything’s going to be ok.”

I stood up walking out leaving Logan to calm down the half snake as I went to look for Roman.

“Hey Ro.” I sat on his lap leaning against his chest.

“Hey Vee...what happened?”

“Nothing to worry about, Logan’s taking care of Janus now.”

“Alright...no one’s hurt right?”

“No one’s hurt Ro.”

“Ok.” He kissed my head wrapping his arms around my waist.
