3rd Person Pov

Roman was walking through the park when he came across a statue. The statue with the rumour that when their soulmate holds their hand they’ll come to life. Roman walked up to it, took out his phone and posed with the statue holding their hand. He hopped down and turned around noticing the statue missing.

“What the?”

The man who was now there fell into his arms, a confused and dazed expression on his face.

“Are you ok?” Roman helped him up.

“I...think so…” He said softly, his voice hoarse.

“Are you sure? Oh I’m Roman by the way.” A small blush covered his face as he stared into his eyes.

“Janus.” He said, looking around, “W-what happened…?”

“I’m not really sure. One minute I was taking a picture with the statue and the next it’s gone and you’re in my arms. Which I don’t mind by the way.” The boy winked at the smallest.

He turned red, “Why would you take a photo with a statue anyway?”

He shrugged, “Something about a rumor and I always liked that statue.”

“What rumor could there be about a statue?” He said, stilling leaning into Roman.

He was still kinda weak and tired.

Roman held him close, “Umm it was something like when the statue’s soulmate holds their hand they’ll become a real person.”

“Sounds like some stupid shit tennagers made up.” He said, slightly annoyed.

“Yeah but you know,” Roman lifted his head up by the chin to meet his gaze, “You kind of look like the statue, just more colorful.”

“Are you calling me a piece of rock?” He said, moving his head away.

“What? No. I’m saying what if the rumor was true, I wasn’t insulting you or anything, you’re very pretty.” He mumbled the last part under his breath.

“Whatever,” He mumbled, “Where are we anyway?”

“Clearfield park, in Florida.”

“Where’s Florida?”

“It’s a state in the United States. Which is where we are now.”

“What’s the United States?” He said, very confused now.

“It’s a country, it holds fifty states like Florida in it.” Roman tilted his head to the side.

“You’re just confusing me more…”

“Sorry I don’t really know how else to explain it.” He rubbed the back of his neck with an awkward smile on his face.

He just stood there awkwardly, looking down and away from Roman.

“Are you ok?”

“I think so?”

“Alright…..Sooo now what?”

“I don’t know…”

“Do you want to go get something to drink? I know a great place just down the road.”
