Happy Birthday Patton!

3rd Person Pov

When Patton woke up at nearly nine am, Remy not in bed he panicked a little. There was no breakfast on the table, no Remy in bed, and no note. The moral side quickly changed and went downstairs, freezing immediately.

Light blue and grey balloons and streamers hung from the ceiling and stairrail. A beautiful three layer white cake with baby blue frosting and grey detailing was being finished by Roman.

Emile, Logan, and Virgil were clattering around in the kitchen. Remus and Janus finishing a few things in the living room.

Patton agape on the stairs, jumping as arms were wrapped around his waist. Patton turned and looked up at Remy with a smile.

"Happy birthday baby."

"Did you do this?"

"I did, I also got coffee."

He smiled more at his boyfriend and leaned up, kissing him.

"Thank you Rem."

"Of course sugar. Now let's have some pancakes."

He smiled brightly and kissed his cheek before walking down the last steps and sitting as Roman placed the food down.

"Good morning and happy birthday padre!"

"Morning kiddo! These look so good, thank you!"

"Anything for you Padre. Now eat up, gifts are in the living room."

"Oh you guys didn't have to get me anything."

"Of course we didn't Patton. You dont do so much for us."

He smiled more. A blush of embarrassment fiding its way to his face. Remy smiled and sat next to him, he glanced behind him at Roman before turning to the cake and went to steal frosting only to be walked by a spatula.

"Watch it coffee boy. Cake is for after dinner."

He sighed dramatically and flopped across his boyfriends lap, "did you see that cookie? No cake till after dinner. Its breakfast time!"

After pancakes, multiple hand slaps, and gifts later Patton turned to Remy with a grin. Remy smiled and handed him a box with baby blue wrapping paper.

He smiled wider if possible, confused to find another box. Box after box after box, a little velvet one was left, tied with a blue ribbon.

Patton undid the ribbon and opened it. Tears sprang to his eyes, his hand flying to his mouth as he stared at the sliver engagement ring.

He looked up at Remy and nodded before tackling him, "Yes! Yes yes yes! A thousand times yes!"

Remys smiled and slipped the ring on his finger before kissing him. Patton kissed back, cupping his face. Remy lifted his glasses up and wiped the tears away before kissing him again.
