A/N: So I posted an update last night becauseI didn't know if I'd have time today but I do so you get an extra update this week.

Summary: Janus' friend force to go to therapy because of his toxic relationship but will a friendship bloom into something more?

Emile’s Pov

I walk into the building giving a small wave to the receptinace Kelly.

“Hey Emile, you have a new patient today.”

She handed me a cream folder, the name Janus sprawled out in black sharpie.

“Alright thank you Kelly.”

“No problem, oh I should warn you they’re not very talkative.”

I nodded heading to my office. I did my normal crazy entrance before sitting down across from my new patient. Not going to lie they were cute.

“Do you how do? I’m Dr. Picani, and you’re Janus correct?”

They nodded looking down at the ground.

“Would you like to tell me why you’re here today Janus?”

“My friends made me come because they say I’m in an abusive relationship, which I’m not! Sure Greg has some...temper issues but I’m fine.”

I nodded slowly taking in this information. Sure I’ve had many cases like this but something just isn’t adding up.

“Tell me Janus, does he hit you? Yell at you?”

“Sometimes...but he always apologies and makes it up to me...most of the time.”

“Do the marks ever last longer than two, three days? Are they bad enough you have to cover them up?”

“I guess so…”

“Does he threaten you when this happens? Does he want you to not tell anyone what happened?”

Janus nodded tears running down his face. I handed him the box of tissues and he mumbled a thanks.

“Your friends are right Janus, you are in an abusive, toxic relationship that isn’t healthy for you or him.”

“But I love him...he loves me…”

“He did love you. If he still did he wouldn’t hurt you mentally or physically. You love the past him, the part of him when you first met. The part of him you keep holding on to is gone and I sadly don’t think he’s coming back.”

“What do I do? I’m scared he’ll hurt me if I end things…”

I tapped the end of my pen on my chin thinking.

“Well...you could take a few good friends with you and they could wait outside while you end things and if they hear anything they can come help you. Or do it in public, that way he can’t hurt you without someone seeing.”

He nodded, staring at the ground in thought.

“Could...could I come back next week?”

“Of course. You can come back until you feel a hundred percent better. Or if you need someone to talk to about something going on you can come back. My door is always open.”

I gave him a reassuring smile getting one in return.

“Thanks doc.”

“Of course, now we still have a half an hour left so why don’t you tell me about yourself.”
