3rd person pov
"What are we going to do! Pride is back and has mom!"
"Emo, calm down, we'll figure this out."
Remus pulled Virgil to his chest, he sighed and leaned against Remus.
"What if we lose both Roman and Jan?"
"We won't. We're going to get them back love."
Virgil leaned up and kissed him softly, "I think I know where they are."
"After you baby."
He rolled his eyes playfully and went into the imagination, shivering at the cold. The imagination was dark and cold, harsh winds making it colder. The ocean waves crashed against the now grey castle, clouds hiding the sun, The flowers slowly died, trees fading into grey and black stumps. The animals all ran and hid from the dark place they use to call home.
"Oh my gosh...."
"Whoa, and I thought my side was dark."
"It is, come on Rem." Virgil walked quickly to the place but stopped as vines climbed up the gate and walls, locking everyone inside in and everyone outside out.
"Uhggg! Stupid vines!"
Remus looked at them and hit the vines with his morning star, watching as they broke, "That was easy."
Virgil blinked a few times before opening the gate and walking inside. Virgil shivered, cold air blowing at him.
"Why is it so cold?"
Remus hugged him, "Not sure love, but the sooner we find them the sooner we can leave."
Virgil nodded and walked around the dark palace, looking for any sign of prince or the slimes snake. Remus pulled him behind a corner and put a hand over his mouth, keeping him in the shadows till the guards passed.
"That was close."
Virgil nodded, he never saw the guards, when did Roman get guards?
Remus let go of Virgil and checked the halls before walking to Roman's room. The room was almost pitch black, and very dark. No light being able to get in. A door stood off to the side, vines covering it so much you almost couldn't see it.
Remus walked over and smashed the vines, jumping as an alarm went off. Virgil quickly covered his ears, hating loud noises.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Footsteps quickly came toward the door, guards trying to open it.
Remus opened the door, grabbed Virgil and ran up the winding stair case.
The alarm grew quiet as they went up, Remus slowed to a walk and set Virgil down.
"You alright scare bear?"
"Yeah, just hate loud sounds."
Remus kissed his head, "Just a bit longer then we can go home."
Virgil nodded and climbed the rest of the stairs opening the door at the top.
Empty
"That's strange....why would he have an empty room with a barricade and an alarm if there's nothing here?"
Virgil looked around, "Or maybe we just can't see it."
"What-"
He sighed, "Either Roman took Janus and left or he has them hiding."
"Ohhhh, that makes sense."
Virgil looked around and walked over to the closet opening the doors.
