A Hero or a Villain

A/N: Part 2 to Goodbye

3rd Person POV

Logan led Roman upstairs, the two now being in Logan's living room.

"This whole time your lair was right below your house."

"Yes, as risky as it is it's more practical to be near by at all times."

"I can't believe this."

Roman follows him to the bedroom

"Yes well unlike the so called 'hero's' I don't need a huge base to operate. I can do it all comfortably from home."

Logan turns from the closet to face Roman, a pair of shorts and a hoodie in his hands.

"You left a pair of shorts here and I know you like my hoodies."

Roman takes them, "...thank you."

"Ro..." he gently cups his face, "I didn't do any of this to hurt you. I know you wouldn't have believed me if I just talked to you and while it wasn't ideal to kidnap you I had to do something and I truly never meant to hurt you."

"What hurts the most is the fact that I hurt you during fights....Logan I made a promise to never hurt you when we started dating and I broke that promise."

"You didn't know starlight."

"It doesn't matter."

"It does. If you would've known it was me would you have still caused injury?"

"No. Never."

"But did you know it was me?"

"No.."

"Exactly, don't blame yourself, ok?"

"..ok."

Logan presses a kiss to his head, "get changed and I'll meet you in the living room, ok?"

"Yeah, ok."

Logan smiles and leaves the room. Roman blows a puff of air into the empty room and pulls the new clothes on, already feeling a bit better. The hero walks out of the room and downstairs, sitting next to his boyfriend.

"You always look adorable in my hoodies."

"Yeah well you aren't getting it back."

"I know."

Roman leans against the taller, relaxing into the warmth.

"Tired?"

"You should know draining me of my powers then giving it back is draining."

"You're correct, I did know that would happen. You can rest, I won't let them hurt you."

"Them? You have a lot of questions to answer."

"I'll answer all your questions after you rest mi amour. Besides, you'll want a clear head to think, yeah?"

"I hate when you're right."

Logan laughs lightly, carding his hand through Roman's hair, "get some rest my dear."

"Fine but if I'm not right here in your arms or have powers when I wake up I'm not going to be happy."

"You'll be here in my arms with your powers when you wake up."

Roman falls asleep in his lovers arms, Logan holding him close and reading a book. When Roman wakes up Logan is on his second book, still messing with the younger hair.

"What book are you reading?"

"The Return of Sherlock Holmes by Conan Doyle."

"It it good?"
