Remy’s Pov

I yawned curling further into my partner’s chest.

“Morning baby~”

“Morning Virgie.”

“Did you sleep last night?”

“After like three I feel asleep.”

He sighed a hand going through my already messy hair.

“Nightmare’s again?”

“It’s the same one.”

He kissed my head.

“How about we go get some Starbucks?”

“Yeah but cuddles first.”

He laughed, “We can’t stay in bed all day.”

I groaned, whining slightly, “I just want to cuddle Vee.”

“You have ten minutes.”

“Fine.” He curled up more in Virgil’s chest.

“Alright time to go get Starbucks.”

I grumbled not getting up.

“Come on Rem, I’m buying you coffee.”

I sat up shooting him a playful glare.

“That’s my boy now get dressed and let’s go.”

I got out of bed and changed before walking out cursing Virgil.

“Oh come on Rem you love me.”

“I do.”

He intertwined his fingers with mine and we walked to the Starbucks in the mind palace town. He opened the door for me and I rolled my eyes, flipping him off. Virgil walked in and ordered for the two of us and paid before grabbing our drinks and leading me over to a table.

“Happy birthday baby~”

“You remembered….”

“Of course I did. You’re my boyfriend and my best friend after all.”

I smiled and sipped my Starbies.

“Love you Vee.”

“Love you too Rem.”

We finished our Starbucks before Virgil led me through the park.

“October. My favorite time of the year. Hoodies, blankets, seasonal depression and pumpkin everything.”

I picked a leaf off my jacket and twirled it between my thumb and pointer finger.

“It’s also pretty outside with the leaves changing and falling.”

“Not as pretty as you~”

“Gurl you’re much more pretty than me but thank you.”

Virgil pulled me to his chest pressing a kiss to my forehead, “Let’s head back now baby.”

“Alright sugar.”

We walked back to the mind palace and upstairs to our room. I threw my bag on the bed along with my sunglasses before I was pinned to the wall. I looked up locking my gaze with Virgil’s.

“Your eyes are so pretty~ You should leave your sunglasses off more.”

“Stop playing games and kiss me already.”

He chuckled, rolling his eyes and kissed me. I kissed back my eyes slipping shut and my arms grabbing his hoodie to keep him there. He pulled away just enough to speak.

“Happy Birthday baby~”

I smiled and pulled him in for another coffee flavored kiss. Best birthday ever.
