What if Tanjiro was a Pure Saiyan? (DB X KNY)

A Saiyan's Past

(A/N: I don't know Kararot's age in the movie so I'll make him a year old)

Two Saiyans, a male and a female, are seen carrying a pod to an open space in a wasteland, in the pod is a crying child. The child cries as the Saiyans are talking.

-Saiyan male's POV-
"If I turn out to be wrong, I'll go out and rescue him," I say. "But- in that case, why don't the three of us run away together?" the female saiyan asks. I then say "We can't. we aren't even supposed to be doing this, it'll be long before they find out I took a pod". The female saiyan says "Bardock, what's gotten into you? It's not like a saiyan man to worry about his children". "I don't know, I'm always constantly fighting, that I'd like to save something for once. Especially something that'll be considered a lower class warrior, like my Kakarot," I say.

-3rd Person POV-
As they keep walking, Kakarot is crying in his pod. Bardock places the pod on the ground and says, "I've programmed this pod to a distant planet called Earth, the people there have lower power levels and aren't technologically advanced", as the female saiyan peers in the pod at her child. "I think he'll do well there Gine", Bardock says. Kakarot shuffles to the window and looks at his parents. "Good thing is, it ain't a valuable world so I'm hoping it won't show up on any radars from other races". Gine says, "If your father is wrong about this, we'll come and rescue you immediately". Bardock walks up to the pod and says, "Listen, son, you do what it takes to survive, got it?" Kakarot looks at them confused. "We'll see you real soon," Gine says. Bardock places his hand on the pod, and Kakarot reciprocates the action. "Goodbye," Bardock says. The pod begins to take off and Gine yells, "Don't forget us Kakarot". The pod finally exits the atmosphere at high speeds. Gine begins to sob as Bardock comforts her.

-Time skip to when Kakarot lands on earth-

-Still 3rd Person POV-
A couple was seen walking around a forest in search of some wood. They see a suspicious-looking 'star' in the sky. They think nothing of it, but later on, the pod gets brighter. The pod lands Northeast of where they are. They investigate what it was, much to their surprise, it was a circular machine. They look around the crash site while being cautious of what it may be. They hear crying and check what it may be. The female says, "Tanjuro, I think we should check it out". Tanjuro nods and gets closer and looks inside to see Kakarot sleeping (Or a child from their perspective). Tanjuro then tries to open the pod, but to no avail. He sits back and thinks about how to open it. Tanjuro then concludes that he should break the glass. He readies his hatchet and swings at the window. The window smashes, and somehow the child is still sleeping. The couple waits for any sign of anyone to pick their child up. They get quite hungry and make a decision to raise the child.

-Time Skip to their home-

-Tanjuro POV-
Me and my wife Kie, wait till the child wakes up. It's been nearly an hour and the child woke up. The child was defensive and strong. We fed him and bathed him. We decided to give him a name because he didn't know it. I asked, "Kie, what do you think we should name this child?". She took a while to think but thought of nothing. I suggested "Tanjiro" Should be his name. Kie said, " Tanjiro seems like a wonderful name, just like yours". I smiled.

-Time skip by a couple of weeks (I'm sorry for all these time skips)-

-3rd Person POV-
Tanjuro takes Tanjiro for a walk for some wood to stock up for the winter. Tanjiro trips and falls down a cliff. Tanjuro yells, " TANJIRO! Oh no!". He finds that Tanjiro has hit his head on a rock and was knocked out cold. Tanjuro picks him up and takes him home. Kie finds out that Tanjiro has dropped, "Dear, what happened?". Tanjuro panics and says, "Tanjiro has fallen from a cliff while I wasn't looking". He starts crying in fear for his adoptive son Tanjiro would die. But much to his surprise, he was still breathing. They bandage his head and place him in a futon.
Nearly a day passes and Tanjiro wakes up. During his wake, he doesn't remember a single thing.

Chapter 1: End.

Did you know that in the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, Bardock and Gine sent Kakarot out to earth for safety from Frieza. While in the Z anime, Raditz said Goku was sent to Earth to destroy all life. Pretty big ret-con if you ask me. Kakarot was also renamed Tanjiro ( just like Grandpa Gohan naming Kakarot "Goku").

Also, Frieza doesn't exist in this AU. (because I don't want to include him)

I don't know if the first part of the chapter was as good as the Broly movie. But I hope you enjoyed the first chapter, more chapters are soon to come.
