-At The Mugen Train-

Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke all stand behind a wall to hide from the train's security. The train whistled as Inosuke jumped around the corner and yelled, "I'm taking you on! Master of this land!" Zenitsu insults, "Hey, idiot!" Tanjiro chased him while saying, "We should go, too!" Zenitsu followed while the security yelled, "Hey! You three!" Zenitsu was the only one who was left behind as he chased the train at full speed while yelling, "Tanjiro! Inosuke!" Both of them grabbed Zenitsu and pulled him in. The train was going full speed was Inosuke was amazed. He yelled, "Man, it's fast!" Zenitsu asked Tanjiro, "Tanjiro... Are you sure about bringing Nezuko-chan along? Wouldn't the Demon Slayer Corps Headquarters be the safest place for her?" Tanjiro answered, "Yeah. It's fine." He looked behind him at the box and finished, "Wherever we go, Nezuko and I will be together. We're never going to be apart again." Zenitsu just smiled at him while they all look toward outside.

-Approx. One Day After The Hashira Meeting-

Kyojuro looked into the Master's Headquarters and bowed. He sheathed his sword and started walking off. Shinobu, from out of nowhere, asked, "Are you heading into battle?" Kyojruo looked back and said, "Hm? Is that you, Kocho? We just got some new information about a demon, and the Slayers who confronted him got taken out. We're losing rank and filers, too, now. We can't stand by and do nothing!" Shinobu asked, "Could it be a Twelve Kizuki?" Kyojuro answered, "Most likely, yes. It might be a member of the Upper Rank." Shinobu says, "It sounds like a difficult mission, but as long as you're going, Rengoku-san, there's nothing to worry about." Kyojuro asked, "Kocho, what's your plan taking in that head-butting kid? You said you were going to add more Tsuguko, But I'm sure that's not the reason." Shinobu answered, "I might ask him to become my Tsuguko after hearing about what he could do. Maybe he could become as powerful as us, wouldn't you think?" Kyojuro says, "Yes, with the right amount of training, I believe he could become a Hashira as fast as those two, Tokito and Himejima, did. All right... I shall head off to my mission, take care now." While Kyojuro walked off, Shinobu said, "Be careful."

-The Night Before The Mugen Train Mission-

A train conductor was walking in a cart as a train was running at full speed. The light flickered and he looked behind him and saw someone standing behind the door. He instantly got scared and ran to the opposite end while the demon killed the man in a blink of an eye. The man's body slowly fell to the ground as blood was splattered against the door's window.

-Possibly Days After-

Rengoku slurped up noodles and yelled, "Umai!" Another Demon Slayer entered the shop as Kyojuro repeated it. He ate up his food and yelled it one last time before the Slayer spoke up, "Flame Hashira, forgive me for interrupting your meal." Kyojuro looked at him and said, "Okay! Take a seat here. Mister, bring this young man the same thing I'm having." The shop owner turned around as the Slayer sat down and asked, "Are you sure it's okay?" Kyojuro said, "Of course it's okay! I'll have another bowl myself!" The shop owner picked up Kyojuro's bowl and said, "You sure eat with gusto, don't you? Just sit tight." The Slayer said, "Flame Hashira, your work last night was stellar." Kyojuro denied, "No. It was after the demon fled, after all. How's the injured woman doing?" The Slayer explained, "According to the doctor, her wounds won't leave her with any scars." Kyojuro says, "I see. Good thing she got treated early." The Slayer agreed, "Yes. It's thanks to your heroics. The shop owner gave the two their meal while the Slayer said, "Thank you for the meal!" They both began to chow down, but Kyojuro was interrupted as the shop owner gave it another plate of food and asked, "What's this?" The owner answered, "That's my treat. Appreciate it!" The Slayer took a bite and said, "Hey! Delicious! Mister, I bet you'd really thrive if you set up shop in Ueno!" The owner was reading a newspaper and said, "What do you know about it?" Kyojuro asked, "Mister, How's business these days?" The man said, "How's it look to you?" Kyojuro apologizes while he added, "Thanks to all that talk about that Slasher being at large around here, people just stopped coming out at night. I even had to let my workers go. They even say that a conductor got killed the other day. On top of that, do you know that the Mugen Train is out of service now? Rumour has it... that around forty of its passengers just disappeared without a trace." Kyojuro says, "Oh... it sounds ominous." The Slayer looked at Kyojuro and says, "Flame Hashira, getting back to why I'm here... We've located the Mugen Train. We've received word that it was secretly transported to a certain train shed." Kyojuro asked, "Is that right?" He took a bite out of the food that was just given to him as he yelled, "Umai!"

They both took off as the Slayer asked, "Will we be heading to the Mugen Train?" Kyojuro said, "Right. But first... let's inspect the station where the conductor's body was found." They both then reach a station.

At the station, A girl sighed as her grandmother said, "Fuku, enough of your sighing. Go on and eat your bean paste bun." The girl, Fuku said, "Yeah. Not many customers today again, right?" The grandmother looked in her book and said, "I know that I say this every day, but it's dangerous to be out after dark. Tomorrow, you can start helping out in the afternoon. Since the demons come out at night."

Meanwhile, Kyojuro, the Slayer and the crow all meet up at the entrance ad the crow said, "All clear!" The Slayer said, "I took a look around the area, but there was nothing amiss." Fuku yelled, "There aren't any demons! You're bringing up demons again? Just stop, will you? I have to sell as many bento as I can! It's hard enough with okaa-san being pregnant, and I heard that otou-san's shop isn't doing well." The grandmother put down and said, "You can leave that kind of worrying to us adults. I'll take care of things in the early mornings and nighttime by myself, okay?" The girl yelled, "And what are we going to do if you get attacked by the Slasher, too?" The grandmother said, "I would be more than happy to sacrifice my life for yours." Kyjuro then walks up and says, "Well, good evening! The moon is exquisite tonight, is it not? I'm searching for a demon. You haven't seen one, have you?" Both the Slayer and the Crow got startled while they each yelled, "What? Just like that?" "Kyojuro-sama! You're being far too blunt!" The grandmother got one look at his face and was shocked. Kyojuro asked, "Ma'am, is there something you can tell me?" The girl, however, didn't treat this stranger with respect. She formed a wall between the two and said, "D-Demon? What kind of talk is that? Wh-What's wrong with you? Stay away from us!" Kyojuro saw how much she shook and yelled, "Look out! If you keep shaking like that, you'll end up dropping your precious bean paste bun!" She threw the bun at him while shouting, "Stay away from me!" The bun hit his face. Everyone watched him grab and eat as he shouts, "Umai!" Fuku said, "I don't believe in demons! There's no way there could be any, and you know it!" The grandmother grabbed her shoulders and said, "Fuku, that's enough. I don't believe this man is a bad person. Fuku looked down in guilt and apologized, "I'm sorry. I feel like I'm always on edge these days because of the Slasher incidents." Kyojurp said, "If what I was just told is correct, you two started working while it's still dark out and come to sell us that bento. I couldn't be more thankful. No one should ever hurt people like you. But you can rest easy now! I'll take care of the Slasher!" Fuku asked, "Who in the world are you?" Rengoku took off while saying, "All right, then!" Fuku shouts, "Excuse me! Um... If you don't mind, could you maybe buy some bento?" Kyojuro turns around and says, "That's a good idea! Okay. I'll buy them all!"

Kyojuro buys all the bento and sends the Slayer off with it and they both part ways for now.

Fuku asks, "What was that all about? I'm glad he bought all those bento, but..." The grandmother forewarns, "Let's hurry home now, Fuku. I'm getting a really bad feeling. I can feel a chill down my spine."

The train whistled as it began to take off. Inside it, Kyojuro sat inside with more bento boxes. Another train conductor inspected the train and saw him sitting there. Immediately, he was fearing for his life. He slammed the door open and yelled, "Who... Who are you?" Kyojuro untied the cloth covering the bento boxes and answered, "I'm a bento vendor as you can see! I am in no way suspicious!" The conductor said, "But this train is heading to the shed now." Kyojuro says, "Right! I'm aware of that. I heard that's where I can find the Mugen Train. That's the one I have business with." The conductor repeated, "The Mugen Train? If that's the one you're looking for, it's no longer in the shed." "Is that right?" Kyojuro asked. The conductor explained, "It was transported to a well-equipped maintenance facility this morning. That one over there." The conductor pointed toward the window and to a building. Kyojuro said, "All right, then this is where I'm getting off!" "What? What do you mean, 'get off'?" The conductor yelled. Kyojuro leaped high into the air as the conductor yelled, "Hey!" Kyojuro landed on the other side of the tracks and walked toward the building. He reached the building and met up with the Mugen Train and stared at it.
