Tanjiro's blade snapped.

-Tanjiro's Battle-
Tanjiro gasped as the thread got too close. Right on time, he went to the right. Getting a long cut on his face. He lands on the ground and feels his face to face, blood running down his hand. He looked at his blade and thought, "No way. My sword."

-With Inosuke-
The Father Demon's body turns to ash as Inosuke holds his mouth, panting. He gets chills and thought, "Amazing. He's on a whole other level. The force of his stroke is in a different class. We're as different as Heaven and Earth. He slashed that tough-as-nails monster like tofu. Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!" Giyu begins to sheath his sword as Inosuke asked himself, "Who is this guy? I still have goosebumps!" Giyu looks toward Inosuke's position to see him sparkle in admiration. Giyu looks unpleased as turns around. Inosuke yelled, "Hold on a second! Fight me, Mismatched Haori! You beat that Twelve Kizuki! And now, I'm going to beat you! That's how I've drawn it up! If I can do that..." Inosuke points at himself and finishes, "That'll make me the most powerful of all!" Giyu insults, "Go back to training, fool." Inosuke was dumbfounded at the answer. He yelled, "What the..." Giyu brings out a strand of rope as he says, "That was no Twelve Kizuki or anything close to one. Could you not even tell that?" Inosuke fired, "Of course, I could! I never thought that scrub could be one of the Twelve Kizuki, either! It was Tanjiro who said it was one of the Twelve Kizuki! I only repeated what he said!" Before Inosuke could finish, Giyu ties him up before he could notice. Giyu walks away while patting his hands. Inosuke stammered and thought, "What's going on? Did he just tie me up? So quick! This guy's so quick! Wait, you! Come back here!" Giyu, while walking away, said, "Stay out of battle if you don't even realize how hurt you are." Inosuke yelled, "I can't hear you! Your voice is too soft, and you walk too fast! I said hold up a second! Untie these ropes right now! Hey! Hey! Hey!" The last and long 'Hey!' finally got to Inosuke, putting him out of commission for the remainder of the battle.

-With Zenitsu-
Zenitsu inhales and exhales while Shinobu asked, "Hello there! Are you all right?" Zenitsu weakly said, "Jii-san..." Shinobu, who probably is offended, asked, "Who are you calling 'Jii-san'?" Zenitsu answered, "Just now, Jii-san showed up and told me not to give up." Shinobu pulls out a small compartment and says, "Ah! You saw your life flash before your eyes. According to one theory, the reason one sees such images just before death is that you're searching for a way to avoid death by going through all your past experiences and memories. Well, not that I can say for sure, since I never experienced it myself." She pulls out a syringe and puts a finger on his forehead and praises, "Right, you did a good job slowing down the poison's part with your breathing. If you hadn't been able to do that, you would've turned into a spider long ago." She grabs his small right arm and injects her antidote into it. Zenitsu winces as he heard another female voice say, "Hurry! Over here, over here!" He looks down at the ground and sees many people. He heard one male say, "Can we get them down?" Another one said, "Be careful, ok?" "It's all good! Everyone's still alive!" Zenitsu finally rests after a long painful battle with the poison.

-With Tanjiro-
Tanjiro looks at Rui with an angry expression. Both Rui and the female demon have neutral expressions. Tanjiro thought, "My sword's been broken! I can't believe it! The threads this boy is wielding... Are they even tougher than the body of that demon I couldn't cut earlier? Forgive me, Urokodaki-san and Haganezuka-san... Due to my inexperience, my sword is now broken." During his thoughts, Rui sent three threads at Tanjiro. Tanjiro jumps out of the way while he thought, "No, this isn't the time for that! Think! Think!" Tanjiro stops and ducks under a web and charges at Rui. He thought, "If I can't cut those threads, I'll get within reach!" More threads were sent as he jumps out of the way. "It's no good! Those threads have a life of their own, and I can't get through their attacks! He's even holding back not to kill me, but he's almost overpowering me at the same time!" Tanjiro had said in his mind. Rui asked, "Well? Do you still refuse to take back what you said earlier?" Tanjiro grit his teeth as an answer. "Fine. In that case, you'll get slashed to ribbons." Rui said. Rui pulled his arm back as Tanjiro was unprepared for this attack. He thought, "Oh no! I can't dodge this!"
Blood was sent everywhere as Rui widened his eyes and Tanjiro gasped. Nezuko had come out of her box to take the damage for Tanjiro. Tanjiro screamed, "Nezuko!" He caught her falling body and ran to cover. They hid behind a tree as Tanjiro said, "Nezuko! Nezuko! You protected me! I'm sorry!" The demon girl said to herself, "A girl emerged from the box he carries. But she seems to be a demon!" She gasped as she saw Rui shake. He asked, "Hey, you... Is that... That girl... Is she your sibling?" Tanjiro answers, "So what if she is?" He held Nezuko's arm and thought, "The wound's so deep! Her left wrist is about to fall off!" Nezuko groans in pain while Tanjiro continued, "Hurry up and heal! Hurry up and heal! Hurry up and heal!" Rui repeats, "Siblings... Siblings... The sister's been turned into a demon." "R-Rui" "Yet, he is with her? The sister protected the big brother? Risking her own life... That's a genuine bond! I want it!" The Demon Girl yelled, "W-Wait a minute! Please! I'm your elder sister! Don't abandon me!" Rui yelled angrily, "Shut up!" He cut her to pieces while cutting down the forest behind her. Tanjiro gasped at the sight while Rui angrily said, "None of you ever managed to fulfill the roles you were given. Never. Not once." The head of the Demon Girl said, "W-Wait. But wasn't I the elder sister you wanted? Please let me make it up to you!" "In that case, go kill those people wandering all over this mountain. If you do that, I'll forgive you for what just happened," Rui ordered. The Demon Girl picked her head up while saying, "F-Fine. I'll go kill them!" She runs away while whimpering. Rui said, "Boy... Boy, let's talk. Come on out." Tanjiro thought, "Boy? Talk?" Rui continued, "The thing is, I was really moved. Seeing the bond you two share gave me the chills. I doubt any words in this universe can describe how I feel. However, your fate now is death by my hand. Wouldn't that be too unfortunate, though?" Tanjiro held Nezuko closer and Rui continued, "But there's just one thing that will let you escape that. Your sister... Give your sister to me. If you hand her over without a fight, I'll at least spare your life." Tanjiro gasped at the choice he was given. He said, "I don't understand what you're saying!" Rui said, "Your sister will be my sister. Stating today." Tanjiro said, "You don't actually think I'd ever agree to that! Not to mention, Nezuko's not a thing! She has her own feelings and will! There's no way she'll ever be your sister!" Rui said, "It's alright. No need to worry. Because I'll forge a bond. I'm stronger than you. I'm talking about the bond of terror. I'll teach her what happens when she disobeys." Tanjiro snapped, he yelled, "I've had enough of you spouting this nonsense! Using terror to shackle someone's hand and foot is not the bond of a family! Until you fix that basic misunderstanding, you'll never get what you desire!" Rui got annoyed and said, "So irritating. Would you mind not shouting? We don't see eye to eye, do we?" Tanjiro dropped the box from his back and stepped out into the clearing. He said, "I'll never hand Nezuko over to you!" Rui said, "That's ok, I guess. I'll just kill you and then take her." Tanjiro declared, "I'll cut off your head first!" Rui got fired up and said, "That's the spirit!" He looked down and said, "I'd like to see you try it. That is if you can actually defeat a Twelve Kizuki like me!" He looked up and removed his hair from his left eye to reveal...
