-3rd Person POV-
The train speeds down the track while people flee into the other cart. Kyojuro stood still and watched the demon. A man was too late to escape and almost got struck by the demon. Luckily, he dodged it and screamed. Kyojuro said, "I won't let you lay a finger on that man!" The demon looked toward him while Tanjiro and Inosuke make to the scene. Kyojuro said, "Didn't you hear me? I said I'm your opponent." Zenitsu, who sat back in fear, said, "What the hell is it? It's got long arms!" Inosuke yelled, "All right! First come, first served!" Tanjiro says, "Hold up! We gotta save the passenger first!" Inosuke ran and said, "It won't matter once I destroy that thing!" The demon launched another arm from its body while Inosuke parried the blow. He jumped and was about to get grabbed before Kyojuro grabbed him and put him into another seat from afar. He took off and ducked under the demon's arms and grabbed the man. Kyojuro safely put him down and said, "You'll be safe in the back of the train. Go on." The man took off and Kyojuro walked up to Tanjiro and said, "We're good to go now. Let's finish him off in short order." Both Kyojuro and the demon ran to each other while Kyojuro lowered his posture and gripped his sword. The demon was about to slam its hand down but Kyojuro used,

Flame Breathing... Second Form... Rising Scorching Sun!

Kyojuro raised his blade vertically and sliced the demon's head clean off. The demon destroyed some seats as it fell to the ground and finally turned to ash. Tanjiro stuttered, "Tha... Tha... That was awesome, Aniki! Talk about brilliant sword skills, man! Please make me your apprentice!" Kyojuro agreed, "Fine by me! I'll make a fine swordsman out of you!" Both Zenitsu and Inosuke jumped in, "Me, too, please!" "Me, three!" Kyojuro said, "I'll train all of you!" All three boys said in tandem, "Rengoku-Aniki!" Tanjiro yelled, "Aniki!" Zenitsu and Inosuke followed behind again, "Aniki!" "Aniki!" While they all yelled in a goofy manner, Kyojuro laughed at the three while they all screamed in excitement.

Later, all four swordsmen are seen sleeping on one another. The conductor pants while he ran down the cart and into another. He slammed the door open and kneeled on the ground. He tears up and says, "I did as I was told! I punched their tickets and lit them to sleep! Please! Put me to sleep, too, now! Please let me be reunited with my deceased wife and daughter! I'm begging you! I'm begging you!" A voice from seemingly out of nowhere says, "Sure thing." A hand drops from the roof and got up on its fingers and said, "You did a good job. Go to sleep." The man then looked like he was hit by a car and fell asleep right after. The hand said, "Have a nice dream where you can meet your family." A girl's voice said, "Excuse me. What do you want us to do?" The voice came from behind and sat four children. The hand said, "Their slumber will grow deeper in a little while. Wait here until then. Perceptive Demon Slayers sometimes wake up sensing the presence of bloodthirsty demons. When you tie ropes, be careful not to touch their bodies. I will have to stay in the first car for a while. Hang on until everything's ready to go... so that you can have blissful dreams." They all said, "Okay."
Everyone in the cart was dozing off as each of them had their dreams.

-In Tanjiro's Dream-
Tanjiro walked through a forest where it snowed heavily. He panted as he kept on walking to where we thought could be nowhere. He looked up and instantly realized where he was. He gripped his sword and thought, "What's going on? What happened?" He looked around and drew his sword. He told himself, "Calm down. Calm down. You have to calm down." He heard a footstep behind him and snapped his head toward the noise. He saw both Shigeru and Hanako holding a basket. Shigeru noticed him and yelled, "Hey!" Then Hanako yelled, "It's Nii-chan!" Shigeru greets, "Welcome home, Nii-chan!" "Did you sell the charcoal?" Bamako asked. Tanjiro is both confused and happy at the sight of the two. He dropped his katana and dashed toward the two and tackle them to a hug. They both got confused at the action and asked, "Nii-chan?" Tanjiro looked up and was wearing the clothes he wore before he turned into a Slayer. He began to tear up and cry as loud as he could. He said, "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" The two look at each other while Tanjiro cried.

-Real World-
The train whistle roared as a demon said, "To be able to die while dreaming... Just how lucky are you? It doesn't matter how powerful a Demon Slayer you are. A human's driving force is the heart, the spirit!" The same hand from before crawled and reattached itself to the demon's arm. He said, "All you have to do is destroy the spiritual core. You can kill them just like that! All human hearts are the same. So fragile and weak, like glasswork."
The same children from before tied ropes to their corresponding person as the yellow-coloured kimono girl asks, "Do we tie ourselves to them by the wrist?" The green-coloured kimono girls answered, "That's right. Don't forget what he warned us about." The boy, who looked awfully pale, told himself, "Take a deep, slow breath... while you count. "Do that, and you'll fall asleep. One... Two... Three... Four... Five... Six..."

-Tanjiro's Dream-
Hanako explains, "And then, we were surprised because Nii-chan suddenly burst into tears!" Takeo said, "What a weirdo!" Kie says, "Oh my, you must be exhausted." Tanjiro said, "It's not such a big deal, okay? I'm fine." Kie grabbed his face and asks, "You don't have a fever, do you? Take it easy and get some rest today, okay?" Tanjiro says, "I'm all right." "Are you sure?" Kie asked. Shigeru grabbed a cloth and Hanako yells, "Hey! You come back here!" Shigeru wrapped Tanjiro in the cloth and said, "Gotcha!" Hanako yelled, "Hey! You stop that right now!" Tanjiro looked at his mother and back down. He said, "Seems like... I was having a bad dream or something.

-Real World-
The Demon said, "Falling deeper into sleep, deep in their dreams... Forget to breathe, deep in their dreams... And even if a demon comes, deep in their dreams... Even in the stomach, deep in their dreams... It looks fun. You're starting to have a happy dream, aren't you? You are falling... You are falling... into a dream. It's a deep slumber. They can... no langer awaken." The Demon responsible for the sleeping passengers was...
