-3rd Person POV-
I hope you enjoyed this chapter about his training.
Tanjiro can be seen preparing charcoal in a basket. His mother calls out to him, "Tanjiro? Your face is covered in soot, come over here." She wipes his face and says, "It's dangerous with all this snow, you don't have to go you know." Tanjiro then says "Well, I want everyone to eat their fill on New Year's, so I'm going to sell as much charcoal as I can." "Thank you," Kie says.
Tanjiro's siblings Hanako and Shigeru come from around the corner. Shigeru yells, "Nii-chan! You're going to town again today?" Hanako blurts, "I'm going with you!" As Hanako yells, Takeo can be seen coming around a corner with an axe in hand. Kie says "Oh no, you're not. You know you can't walk fast like Tanjiro." "Okaa-chan!" Shigeru yelled. Kie walks up to the two and says, "You may not. Since he can't use the cart today, he won't be able to give you a ride when you're tired." Shigeru pouts, but runs and hugs Tanjiro, "Nii-chan!" He yells. "I wanna go with you! I promise I'll help you" says Hanako. Tanjiro says while patting her head, "Thanks, Hanako. But you're staying home" Hanako's face lights up in excitement but dips right down. Tanjiro then kneels to pats Shigeru's head and says, "You, too, Shigeru. But I'll get tons of goodies, okay?", "Really?", "Yeah", Shigeru then smiles. Tanjiro moves his hand to Hanako's head and says, "And Hanako, I'll read for you when I get back." Hanako smiles and says, "Okay", "that's a good girl."
"Thank you so much, Tanjiro." Kie said. "Sure" said Tanjiro.

-Tanjiro's POV-
"Okay, I'll be heading out now", I say. I look at Takeo, "Takeo.. Will you chop as much wood as you can?" I say. "Sure, I'll do it, but..." he looks to the side, "I was hoping we could do it together," and pouts. Tanjiro walks up to him and pats his head, "There, there." "What's with that all of a sudden?" He screams while slapping my hand away. "You're blushing, Takeo!" Shigeru teases. "Hey, you shut up!" Takeo retorts. I rub his head again and say, "There, there." "I said cut it out,"  he yells. We all begin to laugh.
I begin to take off while they wave goodbye, "Hurry back, okay?" and "Be safe, okay?", they yell. I wave them off and turn around to the nearest town. My little sister Nezuko, with Rokuta on her back, says, "Onii-chan." I walk up to her, "Hey, Nezuko," I say. "I was putting Rokuta down for a nap, or he'd make a scene when you leave. He misses dad a lot after he passed away. And everyone follows you wherever you go," She says. I smiled at them while she says, "See you later!"

"We don't have an easy life, but we are happy."
"But life could suddenly change like the weather."
"It shifts and moves on"
"It's not like it always stays sunny"
"And it's not like it ever snows endlessly"
"And... whenever happiness is destroyed, there's always... the smell of blood."

-Time skip to when he reaches town-

-3rd Person POV-
A woman is sweeping a patch of dirt, but turns around when she notices Tanjiro, "Well now, Tanjiro! I can't believe you came down from the mountain on a day like this. You're such a hard worker. You might catch a cold, you know?" She said. Tanjiro walks up to her and says, "This is nothing, really." "Do you have enough charcoal?" I ask. A random man calls out, "Hey, Tanjiro! Can I have some charcoal? Thanks for fixing my sliding door the other day." "I'll need some charcoal, too." a lady waves.
A boy with a bleeding nose comes out, which startles Tanjiro, and asks for Tanjiro to sniff the broken plate. Tanjiro says, "it smells like a cat." "You see?" The boy says. The woman is surprised.
